Yes, a whole 2 1/2 points, the normal ones are 1 1/2. They were really tasty though, was like having nutella on a mini biscuit :)

Sounds like they're more worth the points than the icing ones then.

My daughter and hubby have just joined ww through the NHS referal scheme. I'm gonna follow the diet with them, but not go to classes. We're gonna start properly tomorrow
Been looking through the folder they got and theres quite a few recipes already in there, can anyone help me out with a few more, please? Theres a few there that look delish, one of them looks like a paella (sp?) and also a sliced potatoe one, its not a rosti, but a similar looking dish, cant think what its called just now.
    thanks in advance

Afternoon all, welcome to those recently joined and well done to those of you who've lost; some good losses!

I'll give you a giggle; after my birthday last week I jumped (not literally!) on the Wii Fit and was twiddling with the thing to change the weight so that it would take into account the jeans and t-shirt I was wearing. Wii Fit said I'd put 4lbs on, but when I looked yesterday, I'd ADDED 3lbs to my weight instead of taking it off to compensate for my clothes! D'oh!

Anyway yesterday (when I'd got the figure right!) it told me I'd lost 7lbs, so overall I'm 2lbs down over the last 2 weeks, 12st2 now and just 2 measly lbs off my 3st loss. Maybe next week.......................

    hi indie girl

just a quick query about the wii fit! i am considering buying one but not sure if it is worth the money! i need to get reg exercise in2 my routine but so far have only managed 50 sits up each day for the last 3 days lol! i also have old exercise bike in the shed which i keep threatening to have a go on!

so i just would love to know your (and anyone elses) thoughts on the wii fit!!

I have a wii fit but to be honest I havent used it in ages - despite my original enthusiasm. If you do get one, dont rely on the weight being accurate, I think it can be a bit hit & miss. One time mine told me I'd lost 5 lbs after just 15 mins exercise. Now much as I'd LOVE to believe that, I just dont! :)

I agree totally with Moonflowers. We only have a Wii Fit because we already had a Wii and have most of the 'big' games for it (indeed, the next one will be the EA Sports Fitness game). It isn't accurate in terms of weight at all - I can fluctuate three or four lbs on it!

I also think it's a bit limited in terms of games / exercises, and I would only recommend it if you have a large lounge; we have a small to medium sized one and I can't do some of the exercises without moving the furniture around!

Stick with the exercise bike; I think mine's had more use than the Wii Fit!

thanks indiegirl & moonflowers! its good to know about the wii fit - really would rather put the money towards a treadmill or new exercise bike (see post below :rotfl::rotfl:

had a go on the exercise bike earlier! it was as cheap as chips so it just one of those resistance band ones with a little know to alter the resistance! found out the know doesn't work anymore as the whole thing is covered in rust but i managed about 15 mins - without the tougher resistance it felt like i was goin sbout 90 mile an hour lol!!!

suppose its better than nothing! gona try and do 50 sit ups, and half an hour on the bike daily! then hopefully increase that next week!

oh and by the way the august ww mag has a free recipe book but only when you buy it from tesco!
  • Hey everyone, I don't normally post here but I had a quick Q that maybe one of you lovely people could please help me with?

I have been doing weight watchers on & off for years so I kinda know the points plane inside out , however I have lost almost a stone in the past 7 weeks. I done this being generally healthier etc but last week and the week before I wasn't good and lost anyway. This week (my dieting week starts on a monday) I'm gonna do the points plan as I need a bit of structure but it is my birthday on tuesday and I refuse to count points! I won't be going mad though lol. So I thought If I have 20 points everyday except from tuesday (My normal allowance is 23) I might get a loss? on tuesday I will try and limit my points during the day to 5, that will leave me with 36 points to spend on my meal out (which is gonna be a weatherspoon sweet potato and chickpea curry), A bit of birthday cake etc.

Hope that makes sense & sorry for the long message
