I've just found some info on the referal scheme -

    http://www.weightwatchers.co.uk/images/2057/dynamic/GCMSImages/ReferalHouseadr3Small.pdf

Think I may give them a call tomorrow as I don't go to meetings due to lack of funds - I don't know if I'll qualify, although I believe I am still classed as obese :o Will see what they say!

Hi Karen, have you made any calls yet? My daughter didnt have to see the doctor, you just need to make an appointment with the nurse at our practice, dont know how other practices do it. Also, dont know if it tells you this (havent followed the link, sorry) but you have to have been away from slimming classes for 3 months, daughters friend was already attending sw when this came about, so couldnt have the free referal.

Good afternoon all. I had a good beginning of week but then went to a BBQ last night and managed to over eat, despite my best intentions. I think I need to realise I can't go to things like that and keep my discipline so I need to avoid being there for so long! I was going to just avoid totting it all up but it turned out I was only 7 over and I had 3.5 saved so I am not too bad. I will be cleaning the house I just moved out of tonight so will be burning some calories there.
There is another lady from work going to WW with me and she is doing really well so I am hoping for another pound on Monday to keep up with her; she is a similar size and shape to me so I don't want to end up staying the same as she is slimming down. If only you could buy discipline in a tin... ;)

So, restraint seems to be okay so far...
Breakfast- 30g porridge made with water and a handful of blueberries- 3
Skimmed milk 1/4 pint for day's tea and coffee- 0.5
Lunch- Salad with tomatoes, pepper -0
    1/2 bread roll- 1
    Tin tuna- 1.5
    Rich toffee bar- 1.5
    Snack- Pink n White- 0.5

So that is 8 so far, if I can go for about 7 for dinner then I can catch back what I messed up yesterday, eek :o

hi everyone! i have spent most of the afternoon catching up on this thread! only at page 32 at the mo - keeping any eye out for any good recipes!
weighed myself on wednesday morning came in at 134.4 lb (cant figure out how to change the scales to stones lol). i am 5ft on the button, and have an office job so spend most of the day on my bum!! i do walk 2 and from work so that must be 1.5miles all round at most.
have a big night out on 15th august and have a dress that is too snug so that is my main motivation! ideally i would like to lose a stone - no matter how long it takes but i really want the dress to look perfect in a few weeks time!
i joined weightwatchers back in 07, lost 10lb but gave up when i got back from holiday so officially back on the wagon!!! have stocked up on tinned ww soups, spag & beans, and a few ready meals for when oh isn't around for dinner!
sorry for long post but though i may as well get it out of the way in one go!
good to see so many people on & doin well!!!
oh and took my mums old exercise bike seeing as she was throwing it out so goin for a 'spin' as soon as i get home from work 2night! gona try to use it once every day for 20-30mins to begin with anyway!

Hello all :hello: just checking in!

Agree with you Penky and Hollowhead, I always try to answer/reply to everyone but we're a big gang now which is FAB but makes it hard to keep up :o so huge congrats to those who've lost/resisted temptation and welcome to newbies!

A brill day off for me today shopping in Portsmouth spent a ridiculous amount of money and not even on anything exciting - all new gym clothes seeing as I'm going regularly - I'll either look great or like Nike has puked all over me!!

I was money saving with lunch though and printed out a bunch of vouchers ready for wherever we went to eat :money: this time we had 50% off tapas and my nearly OH bought the ice cream later so free for me! (lets not talk about points today shall we :p)

Penky - you beat my record, I'm impressed :D but yes it DOES come off with a bit of hard work!

Temptation is always there for us all - hence we're here at WW - but a treat doesn't hurt and we now know we can get it off!!!

    Ooh I'm so motivational

Last day off tomorrow and I have nothing planned...boooooooo.

Right I'm going to walk to Morrisons cos I'm out of squash and I won't drink plain water therefore I wont drink at all and will get dehydrated and then will think its hunger and eat...
Really should be doing some work...

Hi Puds, glad ur enjoying ur week off :)
I went to Asda last night and got myself a wheat free pizza - thanku so much!! It's only 14 points for the whole thing so if I have a really good day Saturday I might have it as a treat :D They also do garlic bread but that was £3.28 so rather out of my price range.
It's just occurred to me that I've been doing ww for almost 3 months and I've only lost just over a stone! BUT I feel so much better about myself, I've started going out doing normal everyday things like going into the city - without worrying about how I look!! So I'm happy and hopefully it's true what they say that if u lose it gradually you're more likely to keep it off :)
I saw my Dad and Mum no 2 today whom I haven't seen since Xmas and they said I'm looking great :D I've been invited to Mum no 2's surprise 60th birthday party on 22nd August so I'm really hoping I can get about another 5-7 lb off by then. I'll need a new outfit and it would be wonderful to be able to try things on and not think I look a complete lump! Hmmmm perhaps best not buy too many pizzas between now and then :rotfl:

Take care everyone and keep up the good work xx

You're sounding very motivated at the moment Puddings :)

Karen, you're doing really well, keep up the good work.

I've been out this evening & resisted everything in the buffet except the carrot, so I'm feeling very pleased with myself. see, I CAN resist temptations when I try! ; )

    Morning everyone (just!)
I managed to only use 18 1/2 points yesterday which is 3 1/2 below my allowance which caught me back up a little after the BBQ.
I am going to the cinema tonight to see Harry Potter ( :D ) and will be taking half a bag of microwave butterkist sweet popcorn which is 4 points, I think that is pretty good actually... Need to try and be good for the rest of the day though, have a frozen WW lasagne to have for lunch which is only 4 1/2 but have been given a packet of chocolate iced gems which are 2 1/2 and not sure I can resist having them as pudding!

Hope everyone is having a good day, weather is miserable here for last day of term!
