well done sian! Good luck for re-joining cal!!

Thanks for all the support guys, gosh you are good. I'm going to have to be good now as I would hate to let any of you down. On the plus side there are no custard creams left in the house (I ate them all!! :D) and I don't like rich tea much so know I can be trusted with them. Basically all of the bad food has gone gone gone! :) My major issue is I can't eat any fibre and only limited fruit and veg. Porridge used to be my secret weapon for keeping me full up, but not allowed to eat it now. Bit scared to follow a diet to the letter as last time it set off some serious stomach issues for me which I am really only just reigning in now (after like 2 years!) so I think I will just attempt to be good. I was "good" at Christmas and lost the half stone easily without dieting properly. Knowing you can't have something makes you want it more doesn't it!!

Ah Sian I'm glad someone finds my ramblings interesting :o What a flipping fantastic start! 3lbs!! Woooohoooooooo :j

Moonflowers - I HAVE to plan the day before otherwise I'll be hungry, I'll panic and grab bad things! I think that planning is the secret to my success

I've heard that if you keep the butternut squash soup thick and add curry powder it tastes like the curry sauce you get from chip shops....

Tokyo - don't be disheartened, keep going! Your weight loss so far is great.

Welcome Cal - I have a monthly pass which i love - keeps me going cos i've paid already iyswim. And well done for quitting smoking!

Jam - being 'good' is what WW is I reckon - you can have anything you like just in moderation :o so you know what suits you and your stomach and can stick to those things if that makes sense..

Right I've had strawberries and WW yogurt for brekkie with a cereal bar so far.

Thats all from me for now! Jam I'll be around quite often if you need a diversion from the fridge!

    Puds x

Cal1 - I'm a gold member too. Have got there twice & last time maintained for a couple of years, but I hurt my back last year & stopped gong to the gym & the lbs crept back on again. I think you just have to get back to within your 5lbs again before you can stop paying - that's what I'm hoping for. My prob is I cant remember my goal - it was originally 11 stone but I carried on losing down to 10 stone, I just cant remember if it was reset to 10 or not. I'm hoping not, cos then I wont have to pay for much longer. Altho paying is a really good incentive!

Jamtart - good luck with it all. It sounds like it might be a bit more complicated in some respects but Puddings is right, you just need to be sensible with food. You can eat whatever you want & you know what you can have so I'm sure you'll do well.

Puddings, I enjoy reading your posts too, it helps with the motivation all round :) I've got my WI this evening & I'm a little scared that those bad spells might have wrecked my good intentions this week. Fingers crossed

Puddings - I think that about WW to :)

Been excellent for me so far today. I don't mind posting my meals but please don't laugh at the lack of variety, and oodles of bread - I have limited things that I can eat :D

B - 1 slice toast, low fat spread, jam & tea
L - Bread roll with ham and low fat salad cream
S - 1 slice toast, low fat spread
T - Fish fingers, jacket potato, peas

Yum. Not felt hungry either today :) I'm usually not too bad when I've done day 1...its just making it all the way through day 1 that is hard!

Thanks for all your well wishes!:TWell I went to my local WW and the leader was lovely! Of course she recognised me because I went for years when I was maintaining. She put 2 stone on when she stopped smoking so she knows how I feel;). I'm a single mum & put myself first for once and sat down this afternoon and read everything from cover to cover and planned some of my meals for the forthcoming week. I like to have some of the frozen WW meals in the freezer but actually I think they're too expensive. Anyway, the sainsburys frozen chicken hotpot and cottage pie work out at 5 points and 4.5 points respectively and they cost £3.00 for 4 meals (75p each:T). They are really quite tasty and handy to have in if, say, the kids are out and I'm cooking for one:o. Just add 'free' veg. Just thought I'd share this money saving find with you all.
Anyhoo!!!! 21lbs to go to goal:o why oh why did I carry on snacking? Today is the first day of a new me :D.
    Good luck everyone

I'm plucking up courage and joining weight watchers again!! The class is at 12 noon. I've been a gold member for years and got to goal twice. The last time I managed to maintain for years but after stopping smoking:T my weight has crept up again. Oh my word, I can't believe I'm having to join again:o. Better a bit of extra weight than smoking.
Wish me luck:D. Are there any other gold members out there? I wondered if I have to get to goal again or do I have to be within 5lbs of goal? You get to go to WW free if you stay within 5lbs of goal, which is what I did last time (I got weighed once a month) - Also trying to be MSE about it:D:D - I am buying a monthly pass

Hello I have been at goal twice before! This time its going to be third time lucky! All the best!

I have my 1st weigh in tonight! Wish me luck peeps!
