Evening all. Not a bad week for me, I lost 2lbs. I'm terrible though because I've shed over 2st now without doing any exercise. Time to start really exercising now to tone up what's left over!
Went out last night for my mother's birthday and we went for Chinese which is the lesser of most evils where WW is concerned; I went for the king prawn option and had some noodles to go with the prawns, pointed it at about 12 overall. Didn't eat anything until lunchtime today as I was so stuffed!

Silverstone's been on today so I've spent the day listening to helicopters ferrying people over to the track (we're under the flight path) - the constant noise of the damn things is really starting to annoy me now!

jockettuk - that's why I try not to buy chocolate, no temptation, no danger of me falling!

Indiegirl - well done, sounds like you're doing really well :)

My EAT OUT guide says a kebab with pitta and salad is 4 points - don't forget to add points if you had sauces and stuff but yes they are low - all in all it is just chicken breast, a pitta and some salad hooray! So I reckon 7 ponts would cover everything perfectly, sauce and everything.

Thanks for the advice on the points. I know that this particular place does a mean salad pitta so I had one of those with a teeny bit of garlic mayo and one of those microwave fish in butter sauce thingys, they are delish and it went really well! Was quite pleased I managed to resist the chip shop chips :)
First weigh in tonight, am a little nervous and tempted to not eat anything all day, though know that is not sensible! Any tips? Should I try and drink a lot today so my body doesn't hold too much water or should I not drink too much as I will weight more? Am very confused :o

Hi guys, how are we all. Did slimming world on my own for 3 years, lost 2 stone and yo yoed with the odd 7lb up and down. Tried weight watchers for years on my own and lost the weigh but put it all back on. Have had lots of issues with stomach and food allergies, so gave up for ages, and ate what I felt was necessary to make me feel well.

Anyway, have ballooned back up to a weight that I find unacceptable. My "omg you need to diet now" weight was when I hit the half stone, but now I am 7lb past that weight and up to the full stone so I am even more like "EEEEK YOU NEED TO DO SOMETHING NOW".

If you saw me, I'm about a size 12/14, which I'm sure many people will think "what is she worried about" which was the reaction I got when I went to the WW meetings, so I never went back as everyone hassled me about being there. However, I am unhappy as my clothes don't fit and it is not very moneysaving to buy new clothes all of the time. I go away in 3 weeks and I know there isn't a great deal I can do, but even losing 7lb would help me loads.

I can't do it alone so this thread looks really helpful! Can I join you?

    Morning all,

Welcome Jamtart - I was a size 14 when i started and I know how you feel! I am now a size 12. My meeting is really supportive - people do say i dont look like i need to lose but i'm still heavy - maybe I just carry it well - anyway its all about how you feel!

Well done on the loss indiegirl :T

Sian - As long as you do the same thing each week then thats what counts! Yes, keep drinking and yes make sure you eat!! If my WI was in the evening I'd have my breakfast and lunch as on a normal day, drink water same as a normal day then have dinner after the meeting. But as I said do the same each week..

Hi Rose, can't help with your question I'm afraid - I'm defo no cook! Wouldnt have a clue...I'd just use whatever was in the fridge without realising you couldnt bake with it :o

Well weekend went ok, a few choc binges in the evenings but not too much. Have had a weetabix oaty cereal bar - the white choc one YUM and only one point. Had it with a WW yogurt 0.5 and an apple 0.5. Have a roll with EL onion and chive cream cheese (4) Frazzles (1.5) and my first taste of the new WW lemon meringue bars!!! Its going to be a late dinner tonight as have picked up an extra cleaning job - extra dosh to buy new clothes when i hit my goal of a size 10. Will be having 2 LF sausages (2,5) with beans (2) maybe a potato waffle or 2 (1.5 each) and then some sort of choc pudding at 1.5 :D and thats my day!!

    Puds x

Jamtart - I know what you mean. People tell me I dont look like I need to lose weight, but I see myself without clothes so I know that's not true. At the end of the day, you have to do it for yourself & get to the weight you feel happy with. You're right about clothes - that's what spurred me on to get back to WW again, my small clothes dont fit & I dont want to buy more.

Fyi, there's a calculator on the WW Esource website. You should find that useful. You can also search for loads of foods on there using the Points Tracker section.

Jamtart - no, dont not eat today, you'll just go mad later cos you'll be really hungry. Like Puddings said, just do the same thing each week & you'll be fine. I have my WI on Tuesday evenings & I just eat & drink as normal for the rest of the day. It will balance itself out whatever. Good luck.

Puddings - how was the lemon meringue bar? Our leader will have them tomorrow. Do you recommend them?

Hi Jam, can't help with the calculator (except the one on the WW website but think you have to be a member) or there's a calculation on the first page of this thread.

Somewhere in this thread I've posted the questions to work out points which is also somehwere earlier in the thread too! If I get a chance I'll see if I can find it...
Really should be doing some work...
