Ok - well I finally got around to trying to make the butternut squash crisps that everyone in the WW world raves about.

    Am I missing a trick?!!
How on earth are you meant make them?!!

My leader said to use a normal peeler to get rid of the skin & then to use it to slice off the pieces. I gave up on that idea after struggling like mad. I think I've earned some bonus points just trying to make them!!

So please, any help me for next time?

Just discovered today that M&S Count on Us range is pointed. The things I bought seem to be right, but prob best to check for yourself. Thought it might help someone.

Well done Nat - that's fantastic. I bet you feel sooooo much better for it too. :)

Welcome Nat and well done on the loss! Thats fab! :j

Sian - sounds like a fab meal! I've had their lighter range, had the pizza with ham (8.5) and then the frozen yogurt dessert (3.5) which is LUSH.

I ate homemade burgers round a friends house last night, completely over indulged but still lost 3lbs at WI this morning am chuffed, 1 more pound and ive lost my massive gain from last week!! Will be good this week :A

Just been to Tesco and spent a fortune - can't believe it, I live alone but with the amount I bought you'd think I lived with the British Army  But it means I'm stocked up and raring to go for the week ahead. I'm not even going to have my usual exceptionally bad Saturday...well I dont think so anyway..the ferrero's under my bed might call me!!

Had a delish bacon and mushroom roll for lunch - worked out about 4.5 and it was scrum. Have a breaded chicken steak for dinner with med veg and BNS chips.

Oh and I got the new lemon meringue WW bars at my meeting today and I CANT WAIT to try one but haven't factored one in today so will have to wait till tomorrow. Leader said they are amazing so I got 2 boxes :o

Well thats it for now. Have great weekends peeps!!

    Puds x

Damn it - I knew I wanted to do something today - and thats look at the M&S range I've heard loads about it on the WW message boards. The other thing I got today was weetabix oaty bars - 1 point each they said on the boards (will check) and delicious (will also check) and full of fibre to keep you regular :o which I sometimes have trouble with - tmi?? Sorry!!

Well done on your loss this week Puddings. Sounds like you're doing great! I've had a couple of iffy spells this week but reckon that if I 'm really good for the next 4 days I might manage to do ok at WI.

Well I managed to peel half the thing & then sliced it (in v irregular shapes) using a bread knife! 8- It's cooking now & it smells lovely :):) Cant wait to try it but am not sure how long to leave it cooking for, will keep checking.

I know what you mean about the stocking up. I'm on my own too & I sometimes wonder just how much money other people spend in the supermarket!

Almost a week down and I think I clawed back to being good by walking to and from a friend's BBQ last night and not eating any bbq food :)
Anyone have a fair estimate of the points in a chicken kebab, the ww site says 7 but that seems quite low, is that right? We normally have takeout on a sunday but I don't want to blow all my good work :D

    Hey Sian,

Are you talking about a chicken kebab like you'd get at a bbq on a stick or one from the kebab shop?

If I'm right I'm thinking kebab shop?? In that case...

My EAT OUT guide says a kebab with pitta and salad is 4 points - don't forget to add points if you had sauces and stuff but yes they are low - all in all it is just chicken breast, a pitta and some salad hooray! So I reckon 7 ponts would cover everything perfectly, sauce and everything.

I've just been for a carvery mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
