    hi guys

I joined WW back in March and went to 2 meetings, lost 3lbs in fast start week at 18points and loads of excercise - then i broke my leg and have been in plaster since last week!

Luckily i have managed to stay the same (over)weight while i was lying in bed for 7 weeks and am now a bit worried about getting back to normal!!

Will do my best to get bcak to WW and give it a proper go with swimming as my main excercise for the next few weeks while leg properly recovers!

SOme good losses here so keep it up! x

    Morning all,

Well what can I say? I am GUTTED :(

I had my weigh in last night and I put on 1.5lbs. This now puts me 4.5lbs below target and I only have one more weigh in before my holiday. Technically, for me to stay on track I need to lose 6.5lbs this week.

I nearly cried to be honest. I have been doing so well and it was so nice to be able to say I have lost a stone and a half. The worst thing is that I dont know why I have put on. I have been gym loads this week and have worked really hard. I go back to my point again about exercise.

I had a lovely message from a friend last night. It read - Dont be gutted, what you are doing is much bigger than that. You've fundamentally changed your lifestyle and Matts (my OH). You are fitter, healthier and you look 10x better than what you did 6 months ago. It isnt always easy but it's worth it. Did you go to the loo before weigh in? When I read this I felt so much better but now I have come into work and I'm updating my weight loss chart (I like to keep a graph to show how well I'm doing) I feel really pants again.

My leader said perhaps I'm not eating enough so I'm going to try having a mid morning snack and an afternoon snack. Apparently if my body thinks it's not getting enough food then it's not going to let any weight go.

Lets hope I do better this week.

Well, after that miserable rant I have to say thanks Puddings for introducing me to BNS chips. I have tried them and I love them! I am lazy though and I bought the BNS already cut into chip shapes but it's a bit pricey at £1.50. Yum yum though!!!

    Over and out.........for now!

    hi penky, ((hugs))
where did you manage to find bns already cut into chips?
i really fancy trying them, but sometimes suffer from pains in my hands and i find chopping veg difficult.

it was my first weigh in last night, and i'm pleased to say i lost 2.5 pounds
i also bought the just for me cookbook, the recipes look really nice, and can be easily mulitplied for cooking for more.

    Thanks Shazrobo (Shaz),

Well done on losing 2.5lbs. Thats really good!

I found them in Tescos and they are in the aisle with all the stir fry veg. They were right by the carrots which are already cut up for you too.

I would reccommend them to you!

    Hi Penky,
Try not to worry too much maybe the loss will come off next week. I had a down week the week before last when I only lost 1/2 lb after being really good. Last week I lost 4 1/2 lb:j:j . I just think some weeks the weight loss comes after the meeting lol. Keep going you may be surprised next week. Good luck:D:D:D:D

    Morning All,

I am sitting in a meeting taking minutes...! I will be here for the next 4 hours

Oh Penky I'm gutted for you too but your friend is right with everything she says keep that with you and we'll all help you wherever we can. And I'm so glad you like BNS chips! I have a pile waiting to be cooked in the fridge..

Shaz - well done!! Thats fab, you must let us know how you get on with the recipe book.

Well I've spent the last 3 days at my Nanna's and spending time with my Dad before he goes back to live at the other side of the world  I say good bye to him every year I visit and it never gets any easier, I hate it, I'm a daddys girl through and through - 10 months till I see him again in beautiful Thailand hopefully with the new slimmer me

Anyway, my Nanna STUFFED ME with food!! Although she normally gives me 6 () fishfingers with beans and new potatoes cos I'm on a diet I only got 5 - bless her - I asked for 3....so the scales this morning appear half a stone heavier so HUGE damage control this week!!!!!!! And I have a massive 'food parcel' to consume!

Right thats me done for now!

Penky - dont lose heart, it happens to the best of us. Just draw a line underneath last week & start again.

Only just found this board, great to read fellow weightwatchers comments & get inspiration from other people. I've been at Gold before, I know it works and if you've got your head right, you will get there. Unfortunately it takes longer to lose than to put on, but we have to take little steps cos it all adds up in the end.

    Good luck :)

Hi all. I had a horrible week last week  I developed an upset stomach Tuesday afternoon and didn't feel right again until yesterday. During that time I couldn't face anything remotely good for me and ate lots and lots of rubbish and even had a pizza on Saturday night  Thankfully I've now managed to get back on track and so far only seem to have done a pounds worth of damage
Got to admit that I'm feeling good about myself and that's keeping me motivated. Another half inch off my waist and I'll be losing my trousers so think I need to go shopping :T

Where can I buy the BNS chips please. Can't say I've ever seen them and I'm way too lazy to go about making my own, but would love to try them.

well it's my turn to feel disappointed today :(

I had my weigh-in last night & I've stayed the same. I'm really disappointed cos I'd had a good week, stuck to my points & been very careful about it all & written it all down. My leader says it'll pay off next week & if I've done my best, then that's all I can do. I know she's right, but it doesnt make me feel much better tho.
