Don't know if this is the right place for this but...
Has anyone else had problems with recording the movies channels of SKY+? We have had our box changed 3 times now and all we get is a variety of excuses from SKY eg. The software is being updated, the tuner is rubbish etc.
The problem is on playback the sound breaks up. It is even worse when we purchase a movie!
I don't want to give it up as playing back the 'ordinary channels' works fine.0 -
We haven't had any problems at all with the movies but we haven't paid and recorded yet. The only problem we had was recording from other channels (not movies) where the ending was quite often cut off if the programme overran but we just changed the overrun time.0

Just saw this article linked on another website and thought it might be useful for people on here to know as well.

Basically... Sky is "considering" giving away Sky+ boxes for free to all exisiting & new customers to boost subscription numbers.
Thought it might be worth considering if you were going to spend £49+ on the box.
If I spot any more info on this I'll post it back on here again. Hope its useful info for somebody.0 -
Been told this offer has been discontinued due to huge demand
Sky are saying the only way to get Sky+ is now to pay £99 + 10 per month for multiroom.
I'm not brave enough to try the cancellations department but it looks like my only optionNo links in signatures please.0 -
We had our sky+ refurbished box installed today for £49.00, I just phoned up and asked for one, didn't threaten to cancel or anything.
It's model number is DRX 280 - does anyone know if this is a recent model?0 -
