I always used to follow your threads when I first joined MSE a few years ago & am pleased to see you posting again (although obviously wish you didn't have to...if you know what I mean;) )
Have just caught up with this thread - you've done really well & seem to be right back on track:T
I shall keep reading (and may post occasionally!)
Best of luck - you know you can do it!

yay!! its payday!!
will be off to tesco today to do another shop using a NOTW voucher....so should be about £30 spent there. I have a list and will be shopping strictly from it.
I will be paying £50 to my parents and various amounts to other things. will update totals of everything later on.
My dad kindly gave me £40 for the children for their spending money for when we go camping, £10 each, which means I wont have to worry about finding money for their goodies for that week:) Need £105 for campsite fees and then whatever we will need for food..£60?? and drink for me in the evenings (a few nice bottles of wine!) So, roughly £200.
Ds3 Special needs group annual membership came out this morning so another £15 off my total (will update signature at end of the day).November NSD's - 70 -

Good to see you back and posting Jamie. You're so organised, it puts me to shame, but you've encouraged me to get back on the MSE wagon and start sorting out just where my money disappears to each month.Aiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade BudgetDECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN - 2023 🏅4*⭐️ : 2024 🏅💐2*⭐️ : 2025 ⭐⭐⭐🏅🏅🏅🏅

Ups and downs but have made my first hay:j Still loving it but wondering just what I'll be doing for money before long - checked the pension site last week and I'll be very nearly 65 before I get it and it will be £89:eek: per week so I think I'd better be very self sufficient by then. Still I've now 11 years to supposedly sort out a pension rather than 6 - is that a positive thing?:rotfl:

hmmmm. i have a complete night off on the 2nd august. all four children are going to stay various places that night and i am child free!!! my first child free night (21st march 08) was the first one for 7 years!!! i have had 3 more since then:)
im trying to decide what to do....i dont want to go out spending huge amounts of money on a big night out at the pub/nightclub and i def dont want to stay at home as i know i will end up doing the usual stuff...housework and sitting on the pc.
i am thinking of going camping on my own for the night, maybe setting up tent and then popping to the nearest cinema to watch a film and then back to the tent to read (in peace and quiet:D)
does this sound boring?
can anyone suggest anything exciting to do that wont cost the earth??
if i go camping it will cost me about £15 for the pitch (which is less than i would have had to pay a sitter if kids were at home and i wanted to go out)November NSD's - 70 -
