    morning:)

i have a funeral to go to this morning:( will be paying sitter £5 to look after dd. also paid £8 for ds3 school trip. that should be the total of my spends for today.

this leaves me £29.12 for the rest of the week......

will probably pick up a news of the world on sunday for the £5 off £30 spend at tesco voucher which will ruin my nsd for sunday but is worth it!!

    oh the joys of budgeting:D

having said that, being organised is being in control. this is the most helpful thing in becoming debt free.....

apart from nyk's challenge, i have set myself a similar challenge which i started yesterday. i have added up my income and outgoings including debt, i have arrived at a figure that means i would live within my means and be able to save x amount per year. for this first year as i have debt, the outgoings are quite high, once these are paid off then, i would set a lower figure for year 2 which would automatically increase my savings.

paying yourself first is very important to me. if i try and save at the end of the week i dont have much left to save, if i take my savings out on payday, then i have immediately saved more. also if there is any money left at the end of the week i can add this in too...

i aim to increase my savings by perhaps a few pounds per month and hopefully i wont notice the squeeze for a while.

i keep thinking how lovely it would be when the debt is paid back and there is more money to add to the savings pot!:D

back from funeral. didnt have to pay for parking as i found a free parking space, but treated myself to a bag of giant chocolate buttons on the way back to the car...56p!!
paid the sitter her £5.00, however noticed that quidco had validated another £5.00 today for something i clicked on 2 days ago, so thats good!!

i have set quidco not to pay out until reaches £100 and that money is going towards xmas:) pigsback has now reached 502 points so i shall keep going with that!

i have 2 things to list on ebay which will do this weekend.... both prizes from comping this month:)

ive also paid this months council tax via online banking £110!!!!

oh and i have £28.56 left in my purse to last 5 days:D
