Whilst we're on the subject of photos... I can't work out if ours are crap (personal feeling) or our estate agents are doing a terrible job. I think it might be both. We've dropped the price already, thoughts on why we aren't getting any viewings would be welcome!

The bedroom photo isn't too good, IMO. The garden photo shows how close the property to the rear of you is, some may say its a good thing, but it would put me off. Personally I don't like the new style of details being adopted by agents. Theres not enough info in them, for me.0 -
I agree - I can't help but think that looking at the details I probably wouldn't be enticed into my house! We've been on the market since November and are now with 2 agents (sharing the same details - how lazy?!) - Think I will give them a call and try and get them to take some new pictures, preferably on a sunny day rather than a dark and rainy one! I hate dealing with them as they treat me as if I'm twelve and stupid, which winds me up a treat when they are so respectful to my other half!0

At first I thought I was reading a developer's description of a site.
Your EA has really skimped. It tells me nothing. I rarely click on the brochure. If I can't see all the pictures/sizes/descriptions in the main page listing then I am annoyed and move on.0 -

Well I hope the first agent hasn't made a mistake as the second agent couldn't claim any sort of due diligence defence.0 -
Ok, have attempted some more piccies this morning, could you take a look and see if these are any better? I think the 2nd bedroom looks much better, but bathroom and main bedroom are really difficult without a wide angle lense.
Grateful for any opinions (be nice today please - have hangover!!)

OP my opinion is that your current pictures wouldn't put me off viewing if I lived local but if I was relocating and had to choose x amount of houses to view they wouldn't sell me your house.
- Photo 1 outside shot. Put a car (a nice one according EA programmes as they are aspirational) on the drive to show you can get a car on the drive. Take the photo from the other angle so it doesn't block out the view of front door. Paint the fence outside.
- Photo 2. Looks okay to me but I would rearrange the arm chairs and put sofa under window and arm chairs with table in between where sofa.
- Photo 3. I think the dining table would look better width ways to show the width of the room. Loos the bit of sofa in picture so the room looks larger. Also the stand in the corner detracts from showing the corner of the room.
- Photo 4. Kitchen photo too dark and get in some stainless steel accessories i.e. kettle, toaster, bread bin to make it look more lived in (borrow if necs. for pics). If your cooker hood opens with a light then open it for pic. Pull blind down a bit to add more colour and put the soap away. Even more colourful kitchen roll will add something.
- Photo 5. The wardrobes don't bother me but I don't like the view from the window. Your picture was better. Put more cushions on your bed to make it look like you just want to dive into it! LOL
- Photo 6. I don't mind children's toys in the picture as I like to see how homes are lived in, however it just doesn't show the size of the room or whether you can get a wardrobe/chest of drawers in there.
- Photo 7. Same as above and you have the dreaded view from the window!
- Photo 8. Can't really see what the bathroom is like, whether it has a shower, what flooring you have etc. Dress window a bit more and consider stripy towels with a hint of green. One draped over the bath to break up the whiteness would be good.
- Photo 9. Take the line post out for the picture and if you have nice wooden table and chairs (again you can borrow) put them up for the picture.
