I need help with my Sky remote control

Where do I get the name for my remote control in order to reprogramme it?

when mine played up i bent it in my hands and it came back to life - must be a loose dry joint or something

Hi,

maybe your sky box has 'froze', try switching it off at the wall for a couple of minutes.

JO4, the remote has failed then. Replace batteries and retest as suggested by basill

Hi,

To perform a RESET press [TV] and then hold [select] and [red button] together for around two seconds (until the red light blinks twice). Now press 999 (red light blinks once for a long time and then twice quickly).

Different batteries do not make any difference.

The Sky remote done as you said but it still will not work the tv or sky box.

On a more serious note, I had this and nothing worked to fix it. I phoned Sky, they sent a replacement FOC.
Worth a try?
