I tried using GBP1 Huggies original coupon at Asda IOD & again was refused! :o
Coupon says "...can be used in part payment of any Huggies pack....Do not embarass your retailer by asking him to redeem it against any other item. He is not empowered to do so.." Check-out lady says No nappy, no coupon. I wanted to ask the supervisor but DH was there and he's not MSE at all. So, I let it go. It seems to me all coupons have that printed anyway. So, can you use the coupon if you don't buy the item?

Received in mail from Huggies. I requested a sample of their DryNites, Huggies 1 Day Little Walker trial pack some weeks ago. So, I guess I'm on their "mailing list"? HTH

How did you manage to find out that it is 50% for Tesco's policy? I've been using coupons in Tesco no problem, but have never tried to push it to 50%

The assistant told me. When I have had probs with other SAs, the supervisor has confirmed it.

I work in a north-east branch of Asda and haven't been informed of any recent policy changes. We are allowed to take 10% off the bill, using any coupons EXCEPT ones for specific stores. Any "Asda" branded coupons will only be taken if you've bought the product.

The coupon policy was reiterated on Wire a couple of weeks ago. You can accept coupons provided Asda sell the product, customer does not have to purchase the product. The exceptions to this are Asda coupons, customer has to buy the product and Asda do not accept other shops coupons. No limit to the amount of coupons used.
