Was it Original coupons or internet ones? Just wondering.
I'm going to try again with a different check-out person. If they refuse, I'm going to ask them to check with their supervisor.

Original... I tried coupons before and the till refuses them!

Asda Small Heath advised me that they accept up to 10% of the final bill, and it doesn't matter if you're buying the product or not.

I am in the north east. Tesco policy of 50% off is better though.

How did you manage to find out that it is 50% for Tesco's policy? I've been using coupons in Tesco no problem, but have never tried to push it to 50%
    Saved £££'s using coupons/discount codes/cashbacks

I had problem in Tesco so emailed customer service HO and they responded with the fact that you can give any number of NON-Tesco vouchers (if you dont buy the product)but only one of each. If you buy the item they will accept the number of vouchers per number of items.

I now take this policywith me when ever I go shopping and have shown CS at local stores what HO said they usually let me use my huggies £1 & £1.25 vouchers but only 1 of each without buying the item as long as the store stocks the item (usually do most things)

Me & OH split the shopping so we get to use 2 x £1 and 2 x £1.25 vouchers and yesterday slipped an extra £1.25 voucher into the shop :)

We have alot of the ones from teh pregnancy magazine last month so using them every week.

I was told somewhere that the shop actually makes a couple of pence ontop of the voucher when they receive it!

    Hope that this helps someone!

My mum works in Asda in Derby, she says they have recently changed their coupon policy.

If you have an Asda voucher then you must buy the product to be able to use the voucher.

All other manufacturers vouchers will be accepted and they now claim you can pay for 100% of your shopping with vouchers.
    Cashback earned
    Quidco : £858 :)
    Pigsback : £20 and a Beatles CD.

  • Depends on the SA, out local [17 miles away!] Asda has a policy of 10%, however, the self service tills are at the mercy of the SA watching the big screen. Last week, used enough MOC to give me 75% off!!! [it was only a small shop]Yesterday diff SA voided ALL my MOC & only allowed me the ones he thought could go through!!!!!!
    Tesco, just choose a sympathetic SA & they let you use loads.!!& I don't mean a student!!!!!!}
Aim to save £15 per week on my shopping, so far, since 7th Jan have "saved" £207 .26 with MOC!! Saving towards Disney Florida 2009.
2011, this will be my year .
  • Whoops!!!!!!! have just re-read my post, meant to say £27.26!!!!! Long way to go to Florida, maybe we will go to France for a day trip instead!!!!
