  • Help, took out the insurance on the 3rd of November, had my account credited with £70 pending a few days after that - its still been pending until today - it's disappeared, only £3.86 pending from other buys. I've sent a ticket but it's not been 30 days yet,my insurance doesn't start until the 26th so I could cancel but it doesn't give me much time, what shall I do ?
  • I did mine on 18th October, have paid 1st instalment and still ahve nothing in greasy palm
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.
  • The trouble was it was there, in my account and now its disappeared.
  • Don't panic - It's back in again ( I'll be glad when I get the cheque in my hand! )

I purchased Lloyds car insurance on 13/11 and still no sign of £70 cashback in Greasypalm account - anyone else still in the same boat?

Guess I still have to wait until 30 days are up before doing a ticket.

Yes Spud, I applied on 5 Nov and no sign yet. I put in a ticket early but was told to wait 30 days.

Did you know there is now a forum on greasypalm and I raised this in the lounge forum in questions. It appears several people had to wait for their cash back and submit a ticket after 30 days but most eventually got the cash back. A greasypalm Administrator also posted saying don't worry everyoune will get their cashback but you need to wait 30 days before sunbmitting a ticket as it is normal to take this long.

My ticket will be going in on 5 Dec.
    Regards

Thanks erb, that's reassuring to hear. Although in a burst of impatience, I submitted a ticket last night

The quote I have had from Lloyds is £264 compared with cheapest elsewhere of £357. So with £70 cash back it looks like an excellent deal. Thanks to the OP.
Before you buy Google Nest or British Gas Hive check out ESPproMon the Android and iOS Smartphone app that helps you build the same system from just £30.

I got a letter off them the other day asking for prove of no claims discount, I never been asked for this before, and although I have 4 years from Nov 2003/2004my previous insurance compnay Norwich union only asked what no claims I had and they took my word so although I am honest I cant prove 100%, and they told me that they dont share information between each companu even though I knoaw Halifax insurnace do, as they tell you when wiating on the phone.
