Have you received your £70 then Nutter? Those that have seemed to receive it within days.

It would be interesting to know how many people are still waiting or have been told that they won't be receiving any cash back.

Martin has replied to my PM:

Im away this week - but going to see if andrea can get in contact with them and help

    Fingers crossed!

Well I have Norton Internet security and it works for me along with Firefox so it cant be Norton. I am not sure why some people haven't been paid, perhaps they are pulling a fast one on some of you. All I know is it worked for me, I know it don;'t help some of you out there, I been in your place before so I can understand how frustrating this can be particularly as its quite a tidy sum to not have. I hope you get paid, you clicked on the links in good faith.
  • In response to Izzie's point:

I telephoned Lloyds TSB who tell me they have heard of this company, but they do not[/I] deal with this company and do not pay any commission - it is inaccurate information. When suggesting that this should be passed to Trading Standards, the young lady agreed.

I didn't mention it but when I contacted Lloyds TSB I spoke to 3 different people while I was being passed from pillar to post and was told this myself too...but this is obviously not true as people HAVE received cashback from referrals and GreasyPalm would not be providing links out of the goodness of its heart!

Anyway, as an update to my case...I logged a final support issue with GP saying they didn't care about their members as they hadn't properly investigated the case and so did not care about their reputation either...3hrs later I had had the £60 paid to me...no apologies or anything...I am pleased of course that I have the dosh but wont be using them again!

I to have been refused the £70 cash back.I have printed off proof from the GP click history that I used the link from GP e mail, it took me to the Lloyds car web site and from there I purchased my policy.I have used GP on many occasions and this is the first time that I have had a problem. But it does seem that with this offer there is a major problem on there tracking of these sales.I confirmed that my tracking was OK only 2mins before I made the purchase!Perhaps if we all used our combined experiences on these sales GP are more likely to pay the cashback to all and not just a few.

  • Well after making a fuss I now have all my cashbacks.

I kept resubmitting tickets under 'Other' quoting the original ticket number and I provided them details of the insurance policies I bought. I also mentioned Trading Standards to them and told them to look at my GP history. For each online purchase I had already noted the date and time of transaction on my diary (something I usually do for online purchases of any kind), and I quoted this to them.

After the first Lloyds policy debacle - I can confirm you are wasting your time speaking to Lloyds.

As with most call centres, they will not necessarily know what offers are being marketed through other websites and when I spoke to them, and a supervisor, they had not heard of GP. Even though they viewed the GP website whlst I was talking to them, Lloyds staff in the call centres were not aware of it.

I even got Lloyds to send me a letter proving I bought insurance through GP - but this just complicated things as Lloyds simply sent a letter saying I had insurance!!

My experience of GP is that some sites - like eBay, work ok with cashback and are very quick.

The insurance sites are the ones wth the problem. On both occasions with the Lloyds purcases, I logged into GP first - then clicked on the Lloyds offer. On both occasions TWO pop windows came up each inviting me to 'click for a quote'.

I believe this was the problem as there is nothing to indicate which one to use. I told GP this and they have not commented.

All the insurance I have bought through GP has not shown up despite the cashback tracker saying OK and my logging into GP first.

    DON'T GIVE UP.

In my case - the Lloyds cashbacks made a huge difference to my insurance bills and were definitely worth pursuing.

Now my cashbacks have been added - I shall be closing my GP account once I have been paid out.

RESULT!! 45 mins after e mailing GP, pointing out that I had printed proof that I used their web site to purchase a car insurance policy, and that if still unpaid would take it to trading standards, recieved an e mail saying nothing more than the £70 had been added to my account.A further 30 mins after that got a call from the sales team at trade doubler (who apperently own GP) saying with proof he would sort it out for me.I have an e mail/tel no for him but will not post it on here for obvious reasons. However if anyone wants the contact details PM me and I shall forward them on to you.A word of advice to you all dont give up.I think GP know there is a problem with these sales. But are choosing to only pay the cashback if they see you are not going to back down.

I too have not been paid my £60 cashback for buying car insurance from Llyods TSB.

From reading other posts here...seems like something needs sorting out bt GP.

I wrote them a letter..but still no reply. Shame as they used to be very good service in the past.

Anyone know of a phone number for them??

Martin ..can you help us???? PLEASE??
  • Result ! : Opened a ticket wit them ( less than 30 days ) as seen below : It seems my threat to cancel prompted them to pay up, I guess as they have a cut of each sale as well, so they didn't want to miss out ! However, I was hopefully expecting £70 from what I have read here, but am just glad I got something.

Messgae: Hi, I've seen that the transaction above isn't 'pending' and i've heard numerus stories about this company not sending cashback. As I have 3 days left of the cooling off period, unless something shows up, I'll have to cancel. Do you have a record of this sale ? It's showing up on the click history for me OK Thanks.

  • R E S U L T!!!!! I challenged them, saying I had proof on my click history and proof from my on line receipt (times etc) and received the reply that the £70 had been credited to my account - which it has. I'll believe it when I eventually receive the cheque, but so far this has lifted a lot of weight - hubby just got made redundant so pretty low and I thought I had been had again. Many thanks to all who responded. Good here init!!!
