  • I have posted a rather neutral review on their website and got :

    Thank you

Once approved your review will be published this should take anything from 1-48 hours so please be patient.

I doubt they'll publish it, as I cautioned users to read the MSE forums first to decide for themselves !

Following the post by Superfurry I opened a ticked with Greasypalm. I used a very similar message but added the fact that I was expecting £70 as Superfurry only got £60. I'm not sure if somebody from MSE has been in touch with them or if they have just realised that they have a problem, but £70 was credited to my account today.

If anybody else is still waiting for their cash back please feel free to use my message:

Hi, The transaction above isn't shown as 'pending' and I have heard numerous stories about this company not sending cashback. Please can you confirm that you have a record of this sale and the £70 cashback will be paid? If not, please can you let me know ASAP so that I can cancel the policy with Lloyds. Many thanks.

  • Opened a ticket yesterday for the LLoyds TSB Car insurance (Ins. taken out on the 9/10/05).

Recieved a reply today refusing to pay my £70, and wasn't sure what to do next but after reading this thread, I'm a lot happier.

    Update:

RESULT : Cashback now added after my second email

Very many thanks to all the people who take the time to post.

    I'm still waiting.....
  • and I'm still waiting. I waited the 30 days before submitting a ticket and I knew from other people's experiences on here that if I was going to get the £70 I would have heard sooner. I have just been refused. I am certain that I did everything correctly when taking out the insurance with Lloyds. This was for my son's car insurance and he sat with me and we went through it very slowly and very carefully. I tend to do lots of things for my family because it helps me learn new computer skills.
I wish I had never tried BUT TO MAKE THINGS EVEN WORSE I used Greasy Palm to take out my husband's insurance a week later and I have not submitted a ticket for this because the 30 days are not up. Should I try before as I am really in a state over this as I feel it will be refused for a second time.
I have printed out everyone's negative comments over the past few weeks and keep reading them and everyone says you must not give up but can someone please tell me what I must do now as I feel I have been cheated out of £140. My son says this should be on Watchdog.

PS Love the site and am totally hooked on it.

I didn't wait for the 30 days. Use the text of my message above and give it a go!
  • Thanks for replying to my post. I resubmitted another ticket under 'Other' and having read all the posts on here I plucked up the courage to put together a paragraph of exactly how I felt. I told them that I had done everything right and that they didn't care about their members and that they had not properly investigated my case etc. etc. What a relief because three hours later the £70 had been paid.

Tomorrow the 30 days are up on my husband's insurance (the above was for my son). I am sure I will have to tell them what I think again before they pay up!!!

    Thanks everyone.

Looks like they don't like honest reviews. Their 'members reviews' are just a load of crap !
