my thoughts exactly!!!
or how about brie and courgette soup?? (but the bacon and brie sandwich would be my first, second, third and fourth choice!!! :rotfl:)0 -
All the above suggestions sound very tasty!
How about brie and cranberry parcels (filo pastry) really easy and super tasty!0 -
Stuff a chicken breast with the brie and some cranberry sauce. Then wrap in some bacon, ham or parma ham, and bake. This is one of my OHs favourite meals - it's nice with blue cheese too.0

I dollop a lump on top of a pork chop just before its done and bung it under the grill so it melts into a lovely gooey puddle on top.0

What a lot of really good ideas - thanks so much - I hadn't got beyond thinking about putting it in a baked spud, and I know OH wouldn't eat that but he certainly would eat some of these (and I'd eat all of them) !! :beer:0

xIt's an honour having such a lovely family and being welsh, what more could a girl want :rotfl:0 -
oooh! I absolutely adore brie! It's too good to just have in a boring sandwich.
How about brie and caramelised onion tartlets?
Or use it on top of burgers?
or just eat it on its own...Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -
You could maybe use as a topping for pizza? Although you might need to use mozzerella/cheddar too. It might go nice in a pasta bake? If it was summer I'd suggest use in a salad like feta or goats cheese? I don't really know, I've only used it as a cheese board? Will it keep until christmas to use as cheese and crackers?
Hope I could be of some use x0 -
Ooh Ladyhawk, the brie and caramelised onion tartlets sound lovely! May have to get the ingredients to make some next time I go shopping!
This site is wonderful :j0 -
brie and bacon (hot) sandwiches are pretty decent, brie + green pesto on bread is a grand combination too.
can happily form part of a cheese fondu or for a few more ideas
