Brie in a baguette with avocado and crispy bacon, and some cranberry sauce if liked.
Cut into equal sized bits, coat in beaten egg and cover in breadcrumbs or polenta. Bake on tray fro about 10-15 mins and serve with cranberry sauce
That baguette sounds lovely - will give that a go - thanks!Jane

Bacon, brie and cranberry baguettes, yum! To use my last lot of brie I did chicken breast stuffed with brie and a little cranberry & wrapped in bacon, my OH is hoping that we will have "leftover" brie again for this :rotfl:0

I love bacon and brie in sandwiches too - if you have too much brie, you could slice and freeze and use for cooking or melting dishes, like hot sandwiches0

If I ever have any left over then I spread it on top of an almost cooked pork chop and grill it for a few minutes so it melts deliciously over the meat.very unhealthy but nice as an occasional treat0

Mmmm pen-pin memories of holidays in France with my late OH Grapes, cheese, unsalted butter and a bottle of wine .Great picnics when we used to drive down to my brothers place in the Charente. He bought it in a dreadful condition in 1995 and it took him 3 years to renovate it, but we had some fabulous times in the evening sitting outside watching the stars and listening to classical music playing softly in the background. After a hard days work in the sun helping david with his 'project' it was great. His little place was in the back of beyond and about 4 miles from the nearest village but we did have some lovely times there. The locals called him the 'mad englishman' as they though he was daft to try and rebuild the place. At one point he had a tree growing through the roof when he first bought it !! but its now a great three bedroomed house with two foot thick walls.0
