WHY can't anything ever go RIGHT???

As for what I really want? I really want to do the CAB but why can't it just be simple? But instead its..
Want to do 2 afternoons a week to train with CAB..
Need to put the girls in childcare as no family to look after them..
Can't afford childcare...
Have to work 16 hours a week to get tax credit help with childcare..
Can't work during the day...
No 'regular hours' evening weekend jobs around apart from ones that require me to do training etc during the day which I can't do.
Then I do find something I can do but it's self employed and no guaranteed income..
oh and the nursery funding is stupid meaning that some months we can afford the fees and some months we can't..

Sar, I really think that the best thing for you at the moment is to knock CAB on the head until September or after. Volunteering isn't meant to cause this much stress.
Do the OU course, it'll give you so much knowledge and make the CAB training loads easier. Stick to Saturdays at Argos and Ann Summers in the evening - then you've got time to build up a client base before you "need" the money in the Autumn. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
It's not the volunteering that's causing the stress... it's everything elseTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

But if it wasn't for the volunteering then the snowball effect wouldn't be there. It sucks that it's so hard but sometimes the things we want to do have to go to the back burner.
I've being forced to give up my volunteer role because of needing 16 hours for WTC, but sometimes money is needed more.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Sounds so similar to my life!!!
I study at college one day a week
volunteer (one day a week) - still trying to find childcare for this time
have just been told I am dyslexic and have to have "support classes" at college too! (when I have time for that I have no idea)
I have my son and neice who are three in pre-school but because of a week differance in birthdays my son is not vouchered yet and it costs a fortune! and they only do mornings
Dont get me started on the tax credit system
I really hope you can get this sortedDon't get strung out by the way I look,

I think Gems speaks some sense.
Sometimes in life we have to be patient maybe its an omen telling you its not the right time. There are far too many processes in there in order for you to get what you want and its very compicated.
I work part time and am having to study for my job and to be honest its a pain in the a*** so much easier when my youngest is old enough for school.0 -
To be honest I'm just fed up of having to sacrifice everything I want to do.
I finally find something I want to do and there's w,x,y,z in my way trying to stop me.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Well thats just life! Children don't ask to be born and they are only babies for a while - my eldest is now in secondary school and it seems days ago. Parenting is about sacrificing.0

If you are self employed and spent 16 hours a week working- regardles of income does the tax credits still pay towards childcare?Don't get strung out by the way I look,
