We can all but pray that with all the printed money that is soon to flood through, that our savings still holds its weight. We wouldn't want the situation were a load of bread coast £40,000 now would we

Getting a mortgage is not as difficult as you think. I have spoken to advisors and done many quotes online. Once i have my 20k i really dont think it will be a problemMortgage Free 22/03/17

I am beginning to feel that way too. Given that it's going to be years until I have enough (I will be buying on my own), coupled with the fact that I'm getting b*gger all interest on my savings, really does make me think twice about saving... maybe that's what the government want though :rolleyes:0 -

I am in the same boat as you, buying on my own after recently being dumped.
But dont worry, even if it takes you a few years to save. Just think of the joy of having your own place that you have worked hard to save up for and it is 100% yoursMortgage Free 22/03/17
