payday update for me....
only had £60 left in account - had hoped for more, but its been transferred to savings now, along with £500 from this pay.
An extra £300 goin into joint savings too and OH had managed to clear 50% of his overdraft - not long til he can start proper saving too!

We just put down a reservation on a new build 3 bed detached house. Got the mortgage sorted (3.8% Fixed for 5 years) so were just waiting for the solicitors and everyone else to get their acts together!
This thread has really helped me focus on saving and i guess i will be off to the mortgage free wannabe pages now! Will definitely be keeping my eye on this thread though to see how everyone is doing.Mortgage Free 22/03/17

First bonus from work ever (for passing some exams), about £600, so most of that has gone straight into savings, though I will treat myself to something.
