I'm still owed various rebates etc... which I'm desperately trying to not to factor into much, in case they take long to come through.

Pay day tomorrow, I expect to be able to put aside another £400 (or perhaps up to £500) aside, so it's been a pretty good month since I've already put £900 into my savings :)

And finally pay-day update is here, pay slightly better than I factored for, so I've just transferred £500 across to my savings. It could have been nearer £600, but I have to renew the tax disc on my car :(

    I have news!

We just put down a reservation on a new build 3 bed detached house. Got the mortgage sorted (3.8% Fixed for 5 years) so were just waiting for the solicitors and everyone else to get their acts together!

This thread has really helped me focus on saving and i guess i will be off to the mortgage free wannabe pages now! Will definitely be keeping my eye on this thread though to see how everyone is doing.

    I love payday! :j

First bonus from work ever (for passing some exams), about £600, so most of that has gone straight into savings, though I will treat myself to something.

Hit the magic £25k mark aswell now, very exciting! :D
