Well it was pay day today and I got a bit extra due to working some extra hours so all that went in to savings. The direct debit I usually pay for weight watchers has gone into savings since I have cancelled it and so has my sky difference since I managed to get it reduced from £54 to £30. Totally £340 for July at the moment however mot on wednesday so hope all goes well or I will be dipping in

how did your carboot sale go cassie?

i had to dip into my savings (well i didn't have to but i did for a garden table and chairs) gonna have to dip into it again in a few weeks when were away but we never go away so we want to enjoy ourselfs, i've planned a few 2 for 1 meals with my taste and hi-life card tho so hopefully i won't dip in much :)

i house near me was sold for £7,000 last week, now it needs alot of work and the bank sold it for that but it just goes to show how cheap houses are going, i also saw a drop from 45k to 25k in the last few months thats a big drop for such a low starting price

Can I join up too? My and my OH have recently sold our house and have decided to rent for a year or two to increase our deposit (and learn the area better).

We've got 55k at the moment, but I want to increase that by 20k over the next 18 months.

My plan is to save a minimum of 500p.m. into a regular saver and add at least another 500 to instant acces savings. As you can see from my sig I'm starting the count from 0, but should update it at the end of the week :).

Thanks. I'm a little obsessive with numbers, so it really motivates me when they're written down (the figures in my sig are driving me barmy, can't wait until they start ticking upwards :o)

    Payday update for me!

£20 ebay, £150 leftover from last month's wage and £220 SO going in brings me to £1964.58. This is 98.23% of my saving target for December. I think I might reach it ;)

Hope everyone is doing well :)
