I've been saving for 4 years, since I left university. I had a bit of a juggle diverting funds to pay off my student loan but once that was done it's all been purely for a deposit. Really can't wait to enjoy the fruits of my labour soon!0

Officially saving for a house since May, but before that saved £5k for wedding and I wasn't very strict with myself there so it took 3+years. Gonna be much smarter this time0

Well done, peeps.
As to Jackies & bodmil for saving over £60k - wow! :T If I had £60k saved up I would be so tempted to go out and buy a sports car with it.
Last week I sent £10 to my ISA via BACS (just to make sure it did work - & sent to right bank account! ) and I have just authorised another BACS payment of £210, which, once it clears, gives me over £8,000 saved up.Generation Rent0 -

Cassie, I think a long term financially stable future is dependent on a decent salary. Is there a way you can look at your career plan to work towards earning more? Perhaps doing some evening qualifications now will lead to a more prosperous future in the end?0
