    What no Property Bee?!!

It makes right move even more addictive as you can see al the agents changes - price, blurb, under offer back to available.

Down load it to firefox and have fun!

  • Hey just out of interest does everyone save what they can out of their wages or do they earn extra income to put toward their deposit. Just thought I would ask because my deposit pot is growing way too slowly for my liking.

We save £610 out of our wages each month, then we aim for another £600 from extra income, although we've always met this and usually exceeded it. The extra income board is really useful for getting ideas.

We've actually been very seriously looking at another route towards FTB-dom - self build. OHs family have build 4 or 5 houses, and I'm a planning officer, so know the industry quite well, seems like it could be a good way to get what we want for less money.

  • Six hundred extra income is really impressive what do you tend to do to earn this extra; I have tried the daily clicks but don't generally have enough time as I do a 50-55 hour week plus studying on top. Does the cost of land and building your own house make it cheaper overall than buying as is?

    Hi Everyone,

Found a house i love, competitively priced at 93K 3 bed semi (average in our area £105-£120k similar condition). It came on the market on Wednesday last week and i viewed it thurs, and will be viewing it again at 10.45 today.

I expect they wont go much lower than the asking price but i thought if its right for us then to offer £75k to start? is that reasonable? It ticks all the boxes but does need some work, conservatory needs knocking down and would like to extend kitchen. Needs full damp-proofing also.

What should i be looking out for at this next viewing. The EA said there have been alot of interest on this property so trying not to look too interested after todays viewing. DP is viewing it this week under his name and mums address details so to not appear we are too interested as i will have been twice - do you think this is a good idea?
