Interesting post.
Anyone got access to something like Dunne & Bradstreet to do a credit check on these people?
I would be a little bit worried about futures trading in the current market with any organisation - even one registered in Cornwall ?

Hello,
I have about €1000 which I want to convert into £GB.
Where is the best place for me to do this to get the best deal?
Any advice really appreciated...
Cheers,

Hi, I am a first time poster,
Last year when purchasing travellers cheques I was asked if I wanted sterling or euro cheques, I chose sterling for no other reason than it felt right. I am going to purchase again shortly and wondered if someone could indicate the pro's and con's of either currency and in fact if one is better than the other.0 -
Do not get euro TC's as you will be charged commission when you change them. Get sterling ones.0

What do you need TC for?0

Have used the company many times in the past and they are fine. Its not a fututre rate or guessing rate that they give it is a rate based on that days daily rate for future delivery. People in THE currency industry should be fine. According some sources more and more people are buying travel money. Its on the up. Cornwalls beautiful as well but still one of the lowest paid parts of the country trading from there makes no difference.Vodka Martini

I have found that it is easy to get overcharged when exchanging sterling into foreign currency (and back again)... i used to get money in the airport and was happy paying the price until i was told that i was being ripped off!! lets face it, in the airport they 'have you by the n*ts' not much chance of you nipping to the bank and getting a better rate is there!!
luckily i was told about one of the fastest growing bureau de change outlets which are up and down the country called http://www.no1currency.com. These guys are one of the cheapest i found and now make sure i use them before i jet off... its good to have a good look around too.... this site is great for seeking the best deals... love it!!A very basic question, so apologies in advance!
Am off to Spain for a short holiday next week and just wondered if anyone had any advice on whether it's cheaper to get my Euro's before I go, or it would it be cheaper to exchange when I get there? (or is there not much difference?)
Thanks0 -
try no1currency they give great rates... bureau page and rate at http://http://www.no1currency.com/bureau-de-change/index.asp and store locator at http://www.no1currency.com/bureau-de-change/store-loc.asp

I'm off to Dublin next week. I've heard I'm better off withdrawing my Euros when I get there rather than exchange my cash before I go.
Is that right? My card is a Barclays debit.
Thanks.0
