A very basic question, so apologies in advance!
Am off to Spain for a short holiday next week and just wondered if anyone had any advice on whether it's cheaper to get my Euro's before I go, or it would it be cheaper to exchange when I get there? (or is there not much difference?)
Thanks
If you do try to exchange money in spain the rates out there r better but some exchage places offer a good rate but in small writing or even in spanish saying when you spend over £1000.00 and if you say ok i will take £1000 pounds worth they say sorry we have not got that much euro's. Go to your "Welcome meeting and the holiday rep usually tells you which ones are good. The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0 -
I'm going to Spain this weekend and need to get some euros. Does anyone know which would be the best place to exchange? I've heard M&S are quite good.0

Have you had a look through the Euro currency sticky at the top of this page?0

Whilst you could possibly squeeze one or two more euros out of the deal elsewhere if you were changing say £500 or more and were willing to make the effort .... If markies is convenient for you, I'd just use markies and save your energies.

Travelex is currently 1.245 you can order them and pick them up from the airport when you leave, or if you are close to pitsea in essex the travelex booth in tescos is just over 1.25.

Dear Mr phatbear
Please can you advise those of us with chocolate dubloons (as substituted by markymoo while we were all asleep) how to keep them from melting in this lovely warm weather?
Thank you
Pup.
PS: As it is so warm may I enquire if you will be venturing out in just your new squirrel g-string in order to acquire a tan?0
