right, you posted it was rm at fault

On the basis of the limited information available it is pointless to speculate on who is at fault. However, my post was correct and YOU picked fault with it:mad: Yours was incorrect :A

you posted it was rm's fault
the package reached the delivery office with no postage
unless the postage was applied by the person working at the counter in the post office its down to the seller

if its pointless to speculate then why did you decide it was RM at fault?

This is incorrect, RM is not at fault for what the seller did or did not do.

  • Just to clarify........the seller has sent me a scan of the recorded receipt stamped by the PO, so I must assume that stamps were on it when it was posted. I guess they must have fallen off? before it reached my post office hence the charge.

I appreciate it's not much but I still think it's up to the seller to refund me and sort it out, they have only offered a partial 'goodwill' payment. If the stamps were not fixed properly then it's their fault and if I had refused to pay then the seller would have to pay the fine to get it back.

It's really only a point of the seller having proof of what they paid... and proof of what you were charged. They take it up with the PO (assuming they went to the PO) and the PO cough up.

If they didn't take it to the counter, I suppose that might explain their reluctance to refund something they're unlikely to get repaid.
