Lil-me - I just so don't rock :(

I can't do those talent contest/reality TV stuff - don't know why but they just irritate the hell out of me.

Rosemary and Thyme has just finished and I'm now looking forward to Inspector Wexford. I guess I'm really sad....

Sorry pet hate for me is kids messing about with phones, seen a girl get knocked down by a car when her and a group of friends were messing about with them, the girls were only about 8 or 9. My neice has had one since she was 7, well I think she's had 10 or so up to now. I know 2 children who were attacked for their phones. I think I will know when the time is right for my sons to NEED one until then not a chance. Everyone has their own reasons of course, just offering my opinion when it comes to my boys. I remember a Mam of a boy aged 7 expecting sympathy from me when they'd given him a mobile phone and he'd called the police to report his sister for teasing him. She didn't take it off him then he called the fire brigade twice because he'd seen smoke (from chimneys). She then took it off him after she was told she could be fined if he continued to do it.

Soappie, I don't usually watch them but I thought Casualty was on now so put it on :o Oh bother, I was supposed to be emptying that DW wasn't I....hmmm....what a fun Saturday night

Oh I found out what happened with DP the other night, some idiots after trying it on with girls who'd got in the cab (who'd told them to leave them alone) tried to ram him off the road in another car, bloomin' morons. Driver arrested for drink driving, others arrested for drunk/disorderly etc.
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

Evening to any of you peeps who like me dont have a social life for a Saturday night out :o

Hope you all had a good day

Sorry to hear you still poorly michelle. Hows charlie now?

Embb really impressed with the amount you can get done so early. Does it get easier now with the job?

Soappie well done with your savings at Mr T. I had a bit of a bargain yesterday as they're doing 30% off all jeans, and managed to get a £6 pair for DD for £2.40 as the discount wasnt taken off at the till so got double the diff back :T . Also with the washing powder, I use Mr T value and upon the recommendations of the lovely man who brought and fitted my new washer, only use half the amount recommended (the rest clogs up the machine according to him), I have just bought a new box, the old one lasting since 13 January and 63 washes. Not bad value for £1.40 :D and no difference in the cleanliness of the clothes.

beemuzed :T :T for your lists, thats a big achievement, I dont think in 9 months of trying to follow this thread have I done that!

Lilme Hope your partner doesnt have any more hassles - you just dont need it, and hope the car wasnt damaged. My OH is out tonight on the streets supposedly saving lifes but more likely picking up pi55ed up little tw@ats that cant hold their drink.

Well today managed to go shopping on my own (me time, me time) while OH went to bed and DD supposedly did her homework. Bought ME things today as well, several make up bits and 3 new undie sets. Why I dont know but I seem to have a thing about them, I must have nearly 50 sets now  .
3 hours later when I came back DD had only managed 1 sentence (very decoratively of course tho')

Have then spent an hour helping her complete it,

Got tea ready.

Walked doogie to try and clear my head - did get some Sudafed and its a bit better so thanks for the recommendation think it was chasingbutterflies,

Now making pain au chocolat and chocolate croissants (well of sorts as only made with puff pastry rather than yeast dough) but kids not complaining.
Going to try the choc orange muffins (which is why I came to computer - to print off recipe!) and roast my ham.

Then might just do living room tonight which means I can spend all day tomorrow washing

Ok choc orange muffins here I come
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Tia hope you enjoy your evening out after all the effort you've had to put in sorting things out, well done at finding someone to borrow off rather than buy aswell :D

I didn't. I just came home. Left OH (notice no D) there.

After asking him what I should wear, he said 'that's fine'. I was in jeans, my top and a new cary (I did but stuff too). Turned up, knew 1 person (well OH did) and that was the birthday girl (its a 21st) and everyone is in bloody black tie and prom dresses! I'm there in my jeans! Then we sit and talk to ourselves because nobody talks to us (they are all very early 20's/late teens) and end up arguing because I wanted to go. Seriusly we have nothing in common with these people! So all is fun. More arguing to come.

Oh, and DS1 is not getting a phone. I'm putting my foot down. He only wants one to take vids and pics.

He will be told that he can have one when he goes to secondry school.

OH not talking to me at the moment. He hasn't spoken to me since he ranted at me at about 1.45 this afternoon when I told him I had been in the car when it had a slight disagreement with the sharp edges of a stone wall.

So when I was sorting out the washing and putting it all away I just dumped his on the bed so he can sort his own out.

Tbh I don't care if he never speaks to me again.

Anyway done no flying today. This morning I went to see DD1's junior orchestra concert, came back and took DS to his cub leader's house as she was taking a few of them to an activity day with another cub pack - only to find out when she got there that it had been cancelled and nobody had told her. It was her driveway where I damaged the car.

Took to my bed to read after the ranting so I could avoid the OH and ended up having a long nap - which I needed as I always wake up every morning needing to go to bed! Am now waiting until he is asleep before I go up. In the morning he's (hopefully) off to the lifeboats until lunchtime.

Oh dear tia... have a glass of wine, or chocolate and curl up with your favourite DVD or book...

Michelle - I hope you feel better soon

I'm really tired. DS1 was out all day yesterday on a charity raising venture with the school - groups were given challenges to comlete within 24 hours. His group were all dressed as sushi chefs ( and a couple of prawns as well ), and had Police related challenges - get a photo of some of you in a police cell, get a biscuit from a police canteen, get advice from a desk sergeant etc etc.The only one they failed on was to get information from a detective. He got home about 9pm, and then they went off to the pub. OH picked him up at 12.30pm, he woke me up coming in, and then threw up all over the bedroom... fortunately not over DS2. Oh great. So I was cleaning up, and then sitting up with him for a while, then we spent the night downstairs on the sofas, just in case he felt ill again. Yes, my lovely new sofas - but covered up with every spare duvet cover and towel I could find!!

I couldn't get back to sleep for ages, then woke up about 5.30am. I'm soooo tired!

I had a very nice day though, as took DD shopping at the nearest Primark for clothes for her trip to India - she leaves three weeks today! We managed to get loads - linen trousers, t-shirts, loose cotton tops, pj's, underwear...and all for £50. I hope the summer is nice this year, as she has a lot of lovely summer clothes!

Apart from the weekly shopping, the washing and the usual dailies, nothing much done. OH has done one of the wardobe doors, so I can start putting my stuff in the wardrobe at last!
Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Just looking through the site and found this
http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Rannard/
Martin really deserves it. :j

I've done nothing today except go shopping:rotfl: does that count.
Gonna head to bed soon and hopefully my motivation will return tomorrow.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
:j :j
