Aww michelle glad to hear your feeling a wee bit better and that your DS is to.
Two at sunday school and one watching tv, flipping sky remote not working so have to use the box, nightmare when you are on channel 1 but the kids want cartoons on.
Right cuppa and get OH up (i hope).Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Moorning
No ill effects from the sugar overdose or radioactive muffins last night and feel a lot better as dont have a thick head this morning (prob thanks to the Sudafed/big sleep combo)
Michelle Glad to hear you feeling a bit better this morning and even better to see a shorter list!
It has rained all night here - poor OH got wet several times last night so is already in bed trying to warm up.
Plan for the day is to clear the mess I left in the kitchen last night, sort the washing and feed the machines all day, clean living rooms and cook the roast. Oh and I suppose before I do that I better shower and dress.
Have a good day everyoneMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Morning all
Been raining here since about 2 pm yesterday, the wind is starting to get up now and it's getting colder too. One load of washing - draped round inside obviously!
My sinuses are better today. It's shifted down and I've got a stupid cough now. Nice not having a headache though.
Roast dinner is in. Generally tidied round. Might make a crumble in a minute.
Hope everyone has a better day today.0 -
Well went back to get him at 10pm, had a bit of a bicker in the car but not much. Came home and he fell asleep on the sofa. Tried waking him but no joy so went to bed.
Got up thismorning to DH (yep D again) saying the rabbit has got out her hutch and dug her way out the garden. Found her in one of neighbours gardens, one with grass! Little witch has pulled at the hutch door till the lock came loose then dug a tunnel under the fence!
Just been on the walkers brit trip site, I have 51 points, so can get a haven mid week break (4 nights) for about £90, wish DH had holidays so we could go! Can't find much else... hmmm.. maybe a hotel break for 2 nights for DH birthday???
Classic 28 multipacks get you 28 points! Meaty 28 packs only get you 21. And you get 2 for doing a survey. Plus the 28 multipacks are 2 for £3.00 in asda, so if anyone is booking a haven holiday, it may be worth it.
Got no kids right now, DH starts work at 1pm so I will have an hour to myself! WOOHOOO!!!!!:T :j0 -

Done sweet FA so far apart from soak in the bath, dress and face on.
Pretty quiet this morning, you're obviously all flying or lying in.
Gonne make a cuppa :coffee: - anyone else care to join me. I am not however going to sit here and drink it, I will drink as I work so think I might see what I can do for the next half hour - timer at the ready

Hi, I found the fly lady site thanks to this forum and it has completely changed my life! I can't say thank you enough to whoever started it!
At 34 years of age I finally am taking pride in a clean house! I work full time, strange shifts and have adapted it to suit me.
I've been flying since end of Jan!
The 3 thing that really helped where shining my sink, making my bed, and the swish and swipe in the morning!
Having suffered for years thinking that life was too short, and I didn't have time lurching from one crisis clean to another (Definitely living in CHAOS) being a compulsive hoarder(unopened boxes from the house before last
Using a timer has been a revelation! Love to fling!
At first I thought it was too cheesy and "American" to work for me, which is why I was reluctant to post on here, I was certain I would let it fall by the wayside! It's truly amazing!
So can I join in this thread? pretty please?Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0 -
After standing out in the wind and rain for an hour and a hlaf I have never been so pleased to get in doors.
Mud everywhere but I don't care I'm not outside anymore. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

But we get very little in the way of flying done due to all the gossiping.... :rotfl:
Or maybe that's juts me!! :A0 -
Hi Winky - welcome to our thread.
Pigpen is currently at the helm while lil_me i studying, so it can get a little crazy with pigpen changing the days around each week but it keeps us on our toes. This weeks thread is likely to be up by this evening and there'll be a few start today to get heads up on the rest!
I work FT and have 2 kids DS age 15 and DD nearly 9 and a partner that works shifts so sometimes things get a little manic for me, hence usually playing catch up on the weekends!
My half hour got extended as mother phoned  but have in the last hour
cleared dining table and wiped it
cleared surfaces in kitchen and wiped
Washed up and put away
Sorted out a weeks worth of washing (which took half hour alone!)
Put WM on
Think I'll start preparing dinner, so its ready to go, as dont know what time OH will be up, then maybe hoover thru living rooms etc and wipe the stairs as they're growing fluffballs.
See ya laterMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0
