Evening everyone, big :hello: to all the newbies.

I've done nothing today really, went to church and hubby was really drowsy so home and he slept for a few hours then once he was up i slept for a few hours on sofa. OH now away with IL's for a walk so i have the three mad kids, hyper isn't the word today.:rotfl:

I'm hoping abit of energy will kick in once their in bed, if not i'll be heading to bed at the same time.

Soappie it must be great to have her home for a few days.
    Tylersbabe thanks.
Michelle bet you'll be glad to have the house back to normal tonight, my MIL always comes in when we are away all day to lit the fire except she then cleans the kitchen and the livingroom, moves things about and puts thing where she thinks they should be, drives me nuts.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Sadly, it was only a few hours, not a few days. But, she's talking about financing herself through a course early 2009 (she wants to save up the cost of it first - she'd be a brilliant MSE'r - doesn't have an overdraft etc. etc) and she asked if it would be alright to move back for a few months then - she wouldn't be able to pay rent etc.etc.

I said of course - whilst she's studying, that'd be fine.

Soappie you are a true friend - I've found a bottle in the wine rack in the garage - no idea where it came from but I'm drinking it - put it in the freezer for a speed chill

Soappie it will be lovely, my mums last words to me when i left home was ""when you gone thats it no coming back'' a few weeks later i was down visiting and my room was turned into a games room with pool table and dart board. :rotfl:

Oh no i hate ebay had nothing but bother and the same goes for paypal, had a payment reversed so i cleared out paypal then ebay want paying for there fees. The money from paypal hasn't went into account yet and that was nearly 3 weeks ago. Then i add funds from the same bank account and the money has left my account now for 3 days but still isn't in paypal yet.
    I give up.

I really haven't done what I wanted to today, which would be something outside in the garden. It has been grey and drizzly and cold all day, really miserable.

On the other hand, I have put away all my clothes in the new wardrobe, taken up my new black trousers so that I can wear them this week, cancelled two trial magazine subscriptions, cooked lunch and a chocolate cake, washed the boys' bedlinen, and also cleaned their bedroom carpet. Quite a productive day!

I have also been looking for cheapy flights for a trip for DD and her three closest friends for after their exams and a big birthday treat for her 16th - of course I would have to accompany them.:D We need to check exactly when the exams are over, and when their introductory week to 6th form is, then I may go ahead and book.

I really need to book our summer holiday as well. It will definitely be France again, but I can't decide where to go... OH isn't mad keen on driving long distances, (and he's worse than the kids for loo stops...). I thought about the Loire Valley, but have recently read how crowded it is in August and am having second thoughts. We went to the Ardennes last year, near the Belgian border, and it was so peaceful, with hardly any tourists.I'm not sure I want to go back to the same area though.

I'm really busy with work again this week, so will try hard to keep up with the flying, although probably not following the room order...

michelle - I hope your last four days go off smoothly. Roll on Friday!
