Mad Monday - Master Bedroom & Landing
Level 1
[STRIKE]Check fire alarms are working
[/STRIKE]Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers. Did this on thursday
Fling open the window and let in the spring! I dont think so!
Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
Air the duvet
[STRIKE]15 minutes floordrobe clearance
[/STRIKE]Level 3
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Sort 10 things from your wardrobe (or someone elses) that you can get rid of... and a pair of shoes only counts as one thing! likewise socks!
Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one.
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
39 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
Clean all the upstairs door frames
Clean windows in these rooms
Clear the top of a bedside cupboard/chest of drawers or shelf

Wow 4 pages already, will have to catch up when I get a chance.

DH is on nights so is fast asleep in the master bedroom, so can't fly in there till he gets up.

Got to do the school run and will catch up when I'm back.

Just updated my signature for the grocery challenge and nearly had a spasm:eek: Thought i'd way overspent in my first week, then realised that is actually 2 weeks spend:o Did my weekly shop a day early so ended up with a double spend week. Panic over:rolleyes:

I am new to this and I am looking forward to getting my house straight. I have an ensuite too so would you clean that as well as part of the main bedroom clean for Monday?

You can do whatever suits you, i would probably do it as part of the bedroom.

House was only done on Saturday but I need to do the stairs/hallway and maybe the living room if I can be bothered, no biggie but y'know. Was gonna nip to Lidl to buy me a new laundry basket (it's oiled walnut and lush) but I deen't naaaaaah!

Tell you what - that rain last night was seriously mucky - the kitchen windows are filthy! But I'm not going out there just yet to clean them!

Embb - I agree with you about the timing of the Catherine Cooksons on TV - which was why I was so delighted last night that I'm working from home today - I was able to stay up and watch all of it

Right, off to do some Work work. Community bid has just been emailed out to the funders so that's one job off my list

And mad it was, too. Print shop was closed because the boss's mum passed away last week and the funeral was today.

Made appointment for new puppy to go to vet to get checked out. Don't think he's very well.

Took Murphy to Vet - he gave him a thorough check over and some antibiotics

Building has started on the house next door so MY place will be covered in dust and grime for the next few months :mad:
Spent some time talking to the other neighbour - far too long actually and tea was late.
Washing in and folded.
Spent far too much time cleaning up puppy mess from the carpet :mad:

Morning all

Wind assisted journey to school but much tougher coming home with it blowing in my face!

DS3 put his wellies on in the garage and walked across the kitchen to the door so there is a trail of dried mud to hoover up first.

Need to pop into the loft to put a few bits away and look for a box.

Ebay stuff to package - all paid but they have not emailed me back to confirm the paypal addresses - I prefer them to do this but might post anyhow.

Be back in an hour.
