Done a few more bits but not much - think my motivation left in DH's suitcase LOL Just eaten lunch, just waiting for DS to wake up.

Went swimming yesterday but problem with the pool heating so it was freezing so didn't stay long but I think I've pulled something in my side as its killing! Feeling sorry for myself so think I'll find some tablets and make myself a cuppa.

embb, go back to bed :rotfl: be easier. Why don't you do yourself lists of what you need to do that you can tick off as you pick it up then as you do it when you are out, I'll be honest my brain went to much after childbirth and now I have to have lists as I am a scatterbrain
    Summer moon great news!!!
Penny also great news, have you not planned on what to spend it on yet? :rotfl: now come on girl, planning what to spend it on will surely fit in that list somewhere :D

My wrist hurts :( you can tell when you don't write often enough as writing hurts, so having a break, done 2 pages and it's sore so think I might need meds as the last assignment was 54 pages worth (this is just half a one thankfully) right, coffee, wrist wriggling then crack on....

Oh and shock horror DP is actually using his cross trainer, I'm supposed to be shouting him at half past (part of his physio) but might just leave him a little longer as it's peaceful.....:D evil or what?
One day I might be more organised...........

Absolutely evil weather here now - it's as dark as dusk, raining stair rods, blowing a hooley with thunder and lightning thrown in for good measure....

OT has just left, DS2 having lunch and I think, a poo, then it's nap time. I will get down here tidied a bit while he naps and do the bedroom after I collect DS1 from school. Oh my, he has done a poo, whiffy!

    Off to change a bum.

  • Back from garage- have left the car there and will broach subject of towing fee once they've fixed the bloomin' thing. Couldn't get towed by a friend as needed to go on a low loader.
On plus side will now have a late brekkie with yummy M&S walnut bread and found a copy of the first Prime Suspect in WHSmiths for a bargain £8 - have been looking for a copy of that for a good while - nearly made up for waiting at a freezing bus stop in the driving rain for 40 mins when the bus didn't show - the pleasures of public transport.........

What room is it today again? Its so tempting to jump into my pit when I get round to changing the sheets. Bit of a relax first..........

Anyone in for a HHC at 1400? Need to un-growl first :D
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Thanks for those links Lil_me, I'll be off to have a look and bookmark them in a minute.

I've been to the job center and guess what...... They're going to send me on a teaching assistant course :j:j I get to train to be a teaching assistant WHILE studying at OU for my degree in ICT which then means once I've got my degree I can do the teaching qualification :j:j:j I am soooooooo excited! I've been wanting to be a teacher since I was about 8, I even studied all the A-levels we were told would be a good basis for teaching but then didn't go to uni to study that (I did "performance and production technology" instead and got paid £100 a week for it ;) ) and then I had DD so its taken me 10 years from starting my A-levels to get this far but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I'm going to get there. :D:D So this thread (to bring this back on topic :p ) is going to be a life saver for me as I'll be more or less a full-time student between studying, placement and my OU course  That on top of now being a single parent and all that entails I'm going to be busy busy busy :D I swear if you could see the smile on my face you would think I'd just won a lottery rollover jackpot :rotfl::rotfl:

Right, off to make a cup-a-soup then get on with applying for the OU course :j
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • So glad you've had some good news for a change Nicki - go for it, I'm sure you'd make a lovely teacher
    I'd rather be watching CSI!
