Well I love working with teenagers and since there is a shortage of ICT teachers it means I get extra grants to fund the courses as well :money::D:rotfl: Even just as a teaching assistant the job centre estimate I will be about £200 a month better off than on benefits :D I am soooooooo excited :D:j:D:j:D

Nicki, that is wonderful news. Great that it is all happening as you wanted, pleased about the funding too - it can be really hard to get once you get past A levels.

Likklegibbon I am up for a HHC at 2. Really need to get away from the computer.

Dusty kitten- did you get your manure sorted? I still have have a couple of tons to shift and nowhere to store it. Can't plant the potatoes or move the trailer off the main veg plot till I shift it either.

Nikki - nice one. Glad things are working out for you. Good luck for the courses etc you maybe just spurring me on abit. Always wanted to be a teacher, don't want to be a teacher now but and assistant would be good. I know you have to do voluntary work in schools first, I have a Monday afternoon to myself at present, only day I don't work, so may go into school to see if they want any help then, in fact I will do it when I pick up the girls. I am soooo fed up working in an office - mind you, being on my own most of the time doesn't help.

Anyways, well done and good luck.
Need to sort my life out! :T

    Afternoon All,
Well went for a coffee at my friends and I've only just got back...have barely done a thing.
Sheets are in the dryer and I'm just doing some lunch. I'm going to have to crack on as best I can ....oh well.
Hope everyone is well. I'll hopefully update my list later this evening....

nicki, might seem terrible for me to suggest this, but knowing the rocky times you have had over the last few months, it seems you and your partner not working out (due to his ignorance on not wanting to try again) might have actually been the best thing that could have happened. It's a long time since I have seen you type so positively about anything, I can see you grinning from behind the computer while typing your wonderful news, I am truly happy for you that things are working out much better and finally you are doing something for you!!! Well done girl, no stopping you now! As for fitting it all in, you'll do it, I know you will!

Right assignments done, going to have one last look on the bits I missed before I print mine after DPs printed his and if I can't answer those bits then tough, they're only worth 2 points out of the hundred and I am not risking it being late to salvage those 2 bloomin' marks. Done my best and that's that!

Ok his is nearly finished so off to print the printy parts of mine, stuff it in an envelope then take it to the PO on the way back from collecting DS2. TTFN :D

wow I've just had a quarter of an hour with a coffee, thats unheard of during daylight hours in this house ....

You know those really annoying spam messages you get trying to advertise viagra or god knows what, well (hope this doesnt offend) I got one today entitled: "Turning a small knob into a huge wand!". :rotfl: :rotfl: This has made me laught so much:rotfl: (I wonder if the forum will blank any of it out  )

The wind was pretty wild here last night. So far today I have dried my hair 4 times:rotfl: and had to put 2 pairs of my jeans and 1 waterproofs trousers and 3 coats (2 mine) in the TD. We got drenched walking to school, I usually walk but would have driven on a wet day except I watched that Woman Who Stopped Traffic and she has guilted me into walking even when its tipping it down. Plus I was worried the traffic would be bad in which case its quicker to walk, and we were running late. silly isn;t it. If we are running late then theres no chance of getting there on time by car  . Its black outside and pouring again and I have to go out in 20 minutes to school again aaarrrghhh. Think I might ignore the guilt and drive.

I suppose its to show that not all liquids freeze at just below 0 degrees C and that some may expand more than others. You must tell us the results I love this kind of thing. (My background is science too I ama right geek LOL)

AnW's Mum - glad to see you back in the saddle - yee ha!
nicki - loving your positive attitide ((hugs)) keep it up girl! Oh and pleased you got a tracksuit, was thinking you wouldnt stand a chanc in Asda, ours never has anything in that fits DS, they always seem to have heaps of age 7-8 ! and OMG woo hoo on the Teaching Asst thingy !!
zed42 - well done on the 5k  ! Such a great feeling isn't it!
michelle - well done on deciding to draw the line when you do leave. You won't be able to get much rest after LO born as you will already have DS to look after so make sure you accumulate what you can before then. I've said it before I'll say it again - youwont feel anywhere near so tired once LO comes anyway, so if you can hang in there til then you'll be fine.

juliejim - hope you feel better and water is hot once more!

astonsmummy - call you rlocal fire brigade, they will come and do a fire safety check and give you smoke alarms for free if you need them. PLease Please Please Please get them, its just not worth it to not have them esp if you have a little one.

Sharon1970 - welcome! You can do the ensuite when it best suits you. I do mine on bathroom day so I only have to get the bathroom cleaner and rubber gloves on once! And just blitz it in one go. I hate doing the bathrooms so prefer to just do it all at once. I never thought of doing it as part of the bedroom. Timewise it makes more sense, the bedroom takes me hardly any time! Thanks for the idea!

embb - LMAO at your tale of forgetfulness today :rotfl: you sound like me:T poor you :rotfl: DONT FORGET PARENTS EVENING

right better get ready super quick or will be late for school LO just woken perfect timing :)
