Ewwww stop talking about drinking fishy water, done it once and that was enough for me to buy a self starting pump! Manky you lot, especially tia eating those poor little live fishies, yak!!!!! TF I am not having fish for tea!

SAV3R oh not good, so many are doing the same thing now and it costs a fortune, fingers crossed you find an NHS one.

pigpen, I think she said she'd be back this afternoon, fingers crossed the weather hasn't hindered their travel plans

LG to be honest I say that when our cars go wrong, but then you just end up buying someone elses problems when you have paid so much to put yours right you can end up spending it all again, I tend to talk myself out of it eventually and save the money.

Kaz, pleased it went as well as could be, sounds really special, put your feet up honey like g&b said.

vanilla, just posted something similar about my DS1, he's been at the school since September and the teacher said it's the first time he's played with anyone. I'm sure things will improve just like it's done with my son. Give it time, she's still young, hopefully school are doing what they can to help.

Oh here comes the rain again, I can hear it rattling off the conservatory roof. Oh and **throws strop at the amount of Flyladies with an ensuite** I would love a bathroom to call my own, joys of living with 3 males is my white bathmats I bought already have yellow splots on them within 24 hours!!
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

I swallowed a fish once, accident I swear, but needless to say, I will NEVER eat sushi!

Goldfish water tastes worse than tropical water I noticed!

What size fish? - not a big 'un I hope? Ooooh, did it carry on wiggling? speechless-smiley-040.gif I can't believe that you would want to even try to compare between the two fish waters laughing-smiley-014.gif. Perhaps the goldfish tasted tarnished?
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Lil_me glad your DS1 is settling in, the teachers have said that their gonna keep an eye. I did think of volunteering for break/dinner time so that i could keep an eye on her but think that could be maybe abit over the top. Think the kids just don't understand about her disability's.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

No, it was out the tetra tank, so either a neon or a black tetra, pretty small. I saw it shoot up the pipe, tried to remove the pipe from my mouth and spit but gag reflex and swallow reflex happened at the same time as the water decided to shoot into my mouth and *gulp* down it went. Yes there were many jokes about who was best at sucking too....

Honestly, the tanks were set up in 'bays' and each bay had it's own taste (each bay had a different filter system too and different water qualities) You just got used to it, tried to avoid swallowing any water, but the self starting pumps and the squeezy ones don't work with the display tanks, there is not enough room to get em in.

And the goldfish one was the worst, especially the larger ones! But it was a dirtier tank anyway.

It does say in the training and safety manuals etc not to suck the water, but there was no other way to do it.

Not done too badly - just the two jobs left to do. Will do the fish tanks in a minute and then some ironing - I shall limit myself to half an hour at the ironing board.
    • Do some ironing
    • [STRIKE]Wrap sold ebay items ready to take to post office tomorrow.[/STRIKE]
    • Clean fish tanks
    • [STRIKE]Strip duck meat from carcass and boil up bones for stock for soup for tomorrow nights dinner. Maybe get ahead and prepare it all and do it in the slow cooker tomorrow[/STRIKE] Decided against the slow cooker idea - I've not enough root veg in - will have to pop into the greengrocer at lunch time tomorrow.
    • [STRIKE]Fill the bird feeders in between gusts of wind.[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Put breadmaker on[/STRIKE]
Mad Monday - Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1
[STRIKE] Check fire alarms are working[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.[/STRIKE] Did this on Saturday so refuse to do it again today
[STRIKE] Fling open the window and let in the spring! [/STRIKE]If I flung it really wide, the bed covers would be blown off the bed with the strength of the wind at the moment so it's only open a tad!
    Level 2
[STRIKE] Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..[/STRIKE]
Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
    Air the duvet
15 minutes floordrobe clearance I don't have a floordrobe - if I leave any clothes on there, the dog nicks them!
    Level 3
[STRIKE] Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing[/STRIKE]
Sort 10 things from your wardrobe (or someone elses) that you can get rid of... and a pair of shoes only counts as one thing! likewise socks!
Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one.
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
39 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
Clean all the upstairs door frames
[STRIKE] Clean windows in these rooms[/STRIKE] Absolutely no point in doing this whilst there's such mucky rain going on outside
[STRIKE] Clear the top of a bedside cupboard/chest of drawers or shelf[/STRIKE]

Just transferred my Tesco bogof savings from Saturday and an ebay cheque which has now cleared to my savings account so updated my signature

Also checked Paypal and drawn down another £70 - once that's cleared, it can be added. I really like this idea - it's good to watch savings grow :D

Well for my first ever challenge I don't think I have done too bad, my room has never looked so good. Not to sound to smug I am proud of myself :D I never really thought I would manage this as I avoid housework like the plauge if given a choice normally :o. In between all this I also managed to get into York via train (3hr round trip) and meet up with colleage re course doing at work.

Well done to everyone out there who has acheived their own aims :T:T.

Well done on your first challenge:D I've been a right lazy mare and only managed to make myself nauseous, other than that it has been a wasted day:rotfl:

    Right.. backedy-ho!!

Who needs a dog biscuit.. I've stocked up at Crufts!!.. lol..

Welcome to newfliers.. WB to you ancient fliers.. and lovely to see the newfliers of the last few weeks back in.

The Best in Show last ngith was great.. though I did get stroppy with the people who walked out before they had done the presentation.. they are so ignorant.. 2 people stood up in fron tof us so I.. in my bestest voice (guffaw) said.. 'would you either sit down or move please this is the bit we came to see!!??' They sat down!! LMAO!!

THEN in the bus queue waiting to go back to the car there was someone inside th eshelter smoking.. next to the sign 'Do not smoke AT the NEC' .. my mother moaned.. DD1 started coughing and I stropped so she went outside the shelter and whinged at some people she was with about not being IN the NEC I comment VERY loudly but she is AT the NEC and it is against the law and it is antisocial.. PMSL!!

I hate smoking.. I hate people who smoke in the presence of others in a crowded place, and I am not bothered about saying so!

Anyway... I can't write any more as DS1 is being a !!!!!!.. again.. look here I am at home and he starts at me!!
