    Evening all

Imposter here again! OK not quite I have done loads of washing and drying but that is about it.

Caught up with a friend who took A & W to school last wed for me while we were in Leeds and then arrived back to a phone msg from MIL wanting to know why I had not been in contact in that accusatory tone they can adopt  ranted to my friend who called just after I picked the message up. Rang MIL to arrange time to go there but no answer and answer machine not picking up soooooooo sent text message saying could we go for tea tomorrow and I felt like I needed some time out over the w/e.

This afternoon I mooched round on the net looking some info up along with sorting the washing. Made some decorative slippers with A from her craft book after school and just collected her and put her to bed after cubs this evening.

So whilst I have not exactly earned my glass of wine I am having one :p anyone care to join me?

Kaz sounds like a great send off for your Nan and whilst there was no warning of her passing at least it sounds like she didn't suffer at all.

    Tomorrows list is up!!

LOL.. that sounded like a right downer on smokers... I don't actually care if you wish to pollute your own body feel free.. but we were in a very crowded bus shelter and the smoke was blowing right through and the culprit was standing right behind my 2 girls so they were getting the worst of the smoke.. I was also very tired, very hungry and had a very bad headache!! Unfortunately those 4 factors brought out my council estate upbringing and turned me into an ASBO candidate!!! lol

The people she was with said ' oh we don't mind you smoking' so I snarled.. 'well see how you like it when she blows her smoke in the faces of your children!'

A bit of consideration was all I expected.. Lil_me.. I had someone flick ash in the pushchair when DS3 was a teeny tiny baby!! I was furious.. and if that person ever dared smoke in the street again I'd be shocked lol. And.. totally off the wall but I think pubs are the one place it shouldn't be banned.. or at least have a room inside where people can smoke if htey wish.. I think it should be banned in the street... but I am usually a bit radical in my ideas about such matters.

I've done 4 loads of washing since I came in, loaded the DW, cooked dinner.. have just got the children to bed and have a pounding headache AGAIN!!! Am I allowed to go to bed at 9pm???

No wine here but I will join you with my cuppa AnW'sMum & Dusty :)

Oh bother, after I have put DSs uniform in the washer, wherever he's dumpled it....

Pigpen, similar thing happened to my friend's little one but it was a lit cigarette someone threw behind them which landed in her little ones pram, when DS2 was burnt he was in his pushchair aswell. Yes it was me who lost my temper on both occasions as because the owners of the cigarettes didn't care where they flung/had them they ended up burning children. I don't usually walk along smoking unless I am in a big open space with no kids or buggies in sight, I wander over the field after dropping DS2 off for my morning one, rest are in the garden usually. I actually smoke that little I probably shouldn't bother but I don't want to stop if you know what I mean...when the boys are off school my first is usually after lunch time when DP gets up so he can watch the boys while I am stood in the garden. I haven't had one since 2pm....think I have had 3 today, might only be 2...but I like the ones I have so haven't stopped them.....all have our vices I suppose.
One day I might be more organised...........

did someone mention a glass of wine??? not that I deserve it, I haven't done much since getting home except cook and clean up and chat on the phone. I will try harder... I think that my have been on my school report too....
The place is surprisingly tidy though so the flying must be helping, I suppose even 5 mins here and there makes a difference.

  •   Hello everyone

Memory is really bad at the moment, so I cant remember what I've said already and what everyone else has said!!! Argh!!

Oh and no daffs yet but....rhubarb! I thought I'd killed it off last year. I dont remember seeing any  Hmmm. Serena/Hex you lovely gardening goddessess, does rhubarb do that? Disappear one year and then appear another? The stalk is only about 2 inches but its appeared overnight in the snow. Bizarre.

Kitchen done ande made a start on the living room as well. Working from an old list

Have just finished watching Delia and not convinced on the frozen mash :naughty: Did anyone else see it?
