can I just say (sorry skintscotslass) I have fallen off the weight loss wagon BIGTIME. So I need to make a public declaration.

I am setting myself a new challenge. Lose 17 lbs in 10 weeks. So:
by my birthday on May 17th I will be 11 stone 13.5
And you can all quote me on it. I am fed up of getting fed up with myself so ENOUGH. It stops here, I am going to eat sensibly, keep up the exercise I already do (have felt like skipping it lately), walk to school both ends of the day as much as poss - usually end up driving in the afternoon for some reason. Not going to nick DH's crisps, not going eat out or eat takeaways more than once a week (yes yes I know not OS but survival with the kids at the mo), not going to gobble a whole pack of biccies in one sitting.

zara, start where you feel happy. The whole idea starting is babysteps, doing little and often gets you there in the end. If you want to just start with a level one it's up to you, you can do all 3 if you like or have the time. It's more so we have grades of achievable levels than one great stonking list which when you don't/can't (or in Mudbath's case are too lazy) to do it, you don't feel guilty, you know you have achieved something.

Mudbath, 7.45am they'd have been told to go poo off from me, not a hope, it's bad enough my implant can only be done at 8.30am meaning I need to drag DP out of bed aswell as children, April fools day :rotfl: won't be so funny for him.

AnW'sMum, we live closer to DPs Dad now and he's still never been here, came to the last house once in 7 years (only 7 miles from him then!) and they both drive. I hate the whole have to go on certain days thing too, soon stopped DP when he started that one.

JillD, eww, chocolate in a risotto, saying that I do put it in a chilli....If I could get to the weight you are now I would be happy, going to be a while yet. I am so not looking forward to weighing myself tomorrow....I've been VERY bad after 2 weeks of not loosing a thing I lost the will and the way..

Found DS2s top, in DS1s bed, he must have stole it as a blankie, silly child. Washer load on now with that in aswell as other stuff, dishwasher filled and on, been in the shower, DS1s packed lunch sorted, think that's it since last time. DP on his way home now, been weird without him but nice as I've just pottered about doing my own thing.

Decided to put 'How Clean is Your House?' on because DP won't watch stuff like this, ewwwwwwwwwwww!!!!! I haven't seen this one before.
One day I might be more organised...........

Mudbath - no worries re polly pocket stuff you have other stuff to deal with! there's honestly no rush.
Love the new sig :rotfl: think you should have at least spelt illiterate wrong for the laugh of it. Iliterit. :rotfl:

AnW you're on, save me a glass tomorrow

lil_me isnt it funny how the weight thing is all relative. A couple of years ago I wouldnt have been aiming at 11st 9.5, I'd have been trying to get down from that. Now I'll be glad to get there. Ideally I wat to get to 10 stone but it seems such a long way off and I feel like I will never get there.

    right bedtime. night all
    Jx

Argh just realised its two months to my birthday not 3! Cant count! Going to revise goal already. Its 10 weeks so will try very hard to drop 17 lbs and get down to under 12 stone.

CARP JUST REALISED MEANT TO BE DOING MYSTERY SHOP TOMORROW (bum caps lock on) and havent read briefing notes. sigh. too tired. will do tomorrow

ssl - don't panic! Rhubarb is a very hardy plant, and dies down completely in the winter. If you throw straw on it, and a dustbin or large pot, or even a large dustbin bag you can force the stems a little, and have elegant long pale pink ones. Yum.

Thanks Serena. I'll chuck a pot on it in the morning. I also have a strawberry plant which does actually produce strawbs for a week in July and a pear tree that produces nothing. But now I know why, thanks to you/Hex :T
