Right, Work work is complete. Let's look at the flying list - seems I shall get off lightly.

I will, however, add the following
    • Do some ironing
    • Wrap sold ebay items ready to take to post office tomorrow.
    • Clean fish tanks
    • Strip duck meat from carcass and boil up bones for stock for soup for tomorrow nights dinner. Maybe get ahead and prepare it all and do it in the slow cooker tomorrow.
    • Fill the bird feeders in between gusts of wind.
    • Put breadmaker on
Mad Monday - Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1
    Check fire alarms are working
[STRIKE] Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.[/STRIKE] Did this on Saturday so refuse to do it again today
[STRIKE] Fling open the window and let in the spring![/STRIKE] If I flung it really wide, the bed covers would be blown off the bed with the strength of the wind at the moment so it's only open a tad!
    Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
[STRIKE] Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen.. [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE] Air the duvet[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] 15 minutes floordrobe clearance [/STRIKE] I don't have a floordrobe - if I leave any clothes on there, the dog nicks them!
    Level 3
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Sort 10 things from your wardrobe (or someone elses) that you can get rid of... and a pair of shoes only counts as one thing! likewise socks!
Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one.
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
39 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
Clean all the upstairs door frames
    Clean windows in these rooms
Clear the top of a bedside cupboard/chest of drawers or shelf

Well it's gone, I gave up on those 2 bits of questions, figured it's not worth the stress, but now if I get a result 2 marks under the pass mark I will be kicking myself :o

Dry on the way home, unlike this morning, I stole DPs waterproof jacket this morning as he rarely leaves the house until work so mine was dry to go and collect him in :D forward thinking.

Oh and I got the 'wow' at school, when I said to someone I use weekends to do baking so I can study during the week, both parents and grandparents saying 'why don't you just buy it from Tescos'.....bitten my lip and didn't rant about knowing what goes in their food etc and just said I prefer it.

Ds1s come home in a good mood saying he's got a new friend :D which is rare for him. He finds it really hard to do the whole social thing as do many kids in his class, he was so reliant on adult support (1-1 LSA at old school) when he started the new school that he refused to mix, so it's great to hear him say that.

DPs booked my car in for gas conversion, will save him the most money so he's paying :p but means it'll cost me half the price almost to go somewhere aswell. Oh and he's just told me he's going to work tonight so I have put the meat for dinner back in the fridge I got out (grrrr) and will do myself bacon and pea risotto when I find kaz's recipe. Think I will stick to my usual days and do the kitchen because the bedrooms more work :rotfl: TD now on with towels, no hope in getting them dry otherwise, washer back on in a mo with cleaning stuff in then darks wash to go in.
One day I might be more organised...........

Survived the school run and now the reain has stopped - expect it will start again at 4:15 when I have to go and pick up DS2.

Going to do a concentrated 15 minutes in the kitchen to see if I can nearly finish.

    GandB that's GROSS :eek::eek::eek::eek:

I'm trusting you didn't swallow any - best thing to do would be rinse your mouth out with tepid salty water and then some antibac mouthwash if you have it.

I have a turkey baster that I use to provide the suction to the syphon - I just squeeze the bulb, then put the other end in the syphon tube and then release the bulb - works a treat. And no, I do not use the turkey baster for anything else!

    Afternoon all,
Back in again this week last wee disappeared from wed onwards as I ended up in bed with a flu type bug, tried to get up and about on sat but ended up doing too much so back to bed then up yesterday when I finally felt human again, been to work today so energy levels low again.

I will stick to my own list initially this week as the house looks like a bomb has hit but as I was int he bedroom for most of last week it seems to have escaped being hit.

    Bits for this evening
    put dried washing away
iron any washing that needs it
    WM x2
    evening meal
    DW
    s&s kitchen
    declutter lounge

Okay that it off to make a start will come back later to read the thread and catch up, but hope all who live in the storm warning areas are all okay.
