    Hi everyone,

I'm in again this week. Week 2 for me, and everything seems a bit more manageable this week. Not done that much over the weekend, working yesterday and decided to have lots of family time today. Played Ludo with DD1 when DD2 in bed then DH and I took them to new playcentre and had a great play with them both. However, have done a few things today:
    • HHE - went for a 3 mile run this morning - 10K just less than 10 weeks away & still plenty of time for training
    • HHI
    • Ironed on name label into DD1's school polo shirts, kindly donated by a friend whose DS has grown out of them
    • Kids bathed and hair washed
    Still need to:
    • List 2 things on ebay - not sold through ebay before so thought I'd just start with 2 things.
    • Tidy kitchen
    • Lay out DD1's uniform for tomorrow
    • Get early(ish) night
Hope everyone fit and well and had a good weekend. x

Well I'm in for this week :D Since ex-OH has collected all his stuff I'm going to be re-arranging things, make the house a bit more "me" instead of "us" :D ALso I've just decided (as I type this) that I'm going to start logging into our local Freecycle and see what I can aquire to add a bit more "me" to this place. Everything we own is virtually second (if not third or 4th) hand anyway so what difference would it make :D:rotfl:

SO tomorrow emergency run to Asda at 8am to get DD tracksuit bottoms for her to wear for school (Sports week and she has NO sports gear, and what I bought today from JJB is massively too big so will have to be taken back  ), I'm at the job centre for 10.40 (or is it 10.20? I'll have to ring and check  ) and then I'm going to make a start on spreading my stuff out in the bedroom. I haven't had a full chest-of-5-drawers to myself for YEARS :D:rotfl: OOoo thought - I wonder if the portable TV could go ontop of my chest of drawers  :rotfl:

Right, off to sort out my CV so I can tell the job centre the correct info tomorrow. Laters

Hi there folks ... went a bit to pot at the end of last week, but heck ... we've got another week this week, so count me in :)

Today, I've been and completed my first official 5k run in aid of the BHF ... raised over £500, so pretty happy (if limping, LOL!)

PigPen glad you posted that it's the master bedroom tomorrow, as I was contemplating the fact I wished to tear the current bedlinen off and get it washed ... so tomorrow is the day.

Bit nervous about opening windows due to storm warnings, so I may just play that one by ear!

Right, think i am as prepared as i can be for tomorrow.

Seems though no-one emailed me back to confirm what my classes had done or that the equipment i ordered was ok, i will have to do my very best and adapt as the day goes on.

I have done 4 schemes of work today. :j I am another one who works well to last minute situations then. ;) Just in case i have to leave come Tuesday evening. Also managed to sort out one lesson. Typically i have just got really good at making fabby things for the kids to do/look at, and i'm about to have a year off where it will all change again with the new Key stage three curriculum, and baccalaureate system, and then i will be way out of my depth when i go back. :rotfl:

As i am not shattered, i might now do a little bit of that marking i was threatening to do.

tracey know what you mean about the responsibility - my gut instinct was my baby needs me, but then i remember all the things i am supposed to do, and it conflicts. Last time i worked an extra 2 1/2 weeks from home catching up paperwork - finished on the thursday night, dropped off at school on the friday, went into labour the early hours of tuesday morning, and decided i am not doing that again. Come 3pm on 20/03 if i make it that far, i hand over my mark book and wave  and i am being assertive and saying no, if they reckon i still haven't done stuff.

kaz hope tomorrow goes well for nanny's funeral

anw's mum bet you are glad it is returning to 'normal' if the crazy world we live in could ever be described that way.

serena good luck with your busy week - thanks for the tip re:book - i have a birthday in April, so might ask DH to wander via ASDA rather than a last minute waterstones as usual.

Right, short spurt of marking, and then in bed reasonably early ready for a busy one tomorrow i think.

Hi, I'm in again this week but got to finish lots of WORK off so not sure how much flying I'll achieve. I'm on to a flying start though as I did the bedrooms today and changed the bedding as it looked like being a nice day....needless to say I now have bedlinen hanging everywhere...:o
