Tia, well done, you just 'ironed' like I do :D so many things just don't need it. A Mam at school was in shock when I told her I rarely iron, she said 'but your clothes don't look creased' dry them as flat as possible, fold them neatly and they don't need it! Apart from shirts etc which we rarely wear, usually the 'easy iron' function on the drier does the casual ones :D both boys in polo shirts for school.

DS1s being a right PITA!!! He refused as usual to eat most of his dinner, then now wants other stuff, well he's not getting away with it, he can finish his dinner if he wants choc brownies, call me mean but he's getting right on my nerves. He stood earlier repeatedly kicking his brother for no reason, I told him off so he started kicking the dog instead, someone definately heading for an early night!!!

Well I will tidy my room tomorrow (do the linen on Wednesday) and put the sheet straps on to see if we can keep the sheets on the bed as with the mattress topper on they are coming off all the time. Other than that it's dailies, night time stuff and study time to get the assignment completed and posted!

Oh AnW'sMum I could just eat a Flurry, might have to have a small dessert of brownie, icecream and choc sauce later to make up for it.
One day I might be more organised...........

another scheme of work pretty much done barring putting in key words and a couple of homework sheets. It amazes me that we were giving specific guidelines on what was to go in the schemes, and then the 3 managers in my department, and pretty much everyone else but me just didn't do it as they wanted, and they are now paying me to sort it out. It also pleases me how many of my worksheets have been stolen and put in their schemes. Not that i mind sharing. ;)

DS not been ill for a few hours, and is keeping water down a bit better.

I've also managed to wash my hair and have a nice bath leaving DH to watch Barney.

So, plan now - DS to bed - dinner to cook, and then seems though i am feeling inspired by my progress today, 1 more lesson to plan, and i may try and do some marking of either coursework or my y7 books. Will probably be back around later on to put in my list. DH to wash the rug that has been severely affected by Ds's bug - and i don't think that is just my nose. ;) Well i cleaned up the worst of it yesterday, but as it still pongs, i think it needs a vax.

tia i had that same realisation with the ironing. I was ironing baby vests and PJS and then when DS is ill like this, some of the vests are only on for a matter of half an hour - plus, who other than me actually cares. As long as i fold it and not DH, then it looks ok.

My pile is rather huge though at the minute as the clothes we have gone through over the past few days is a bit of a joke.

On with dinner then. Although i now fancy a mcflurry.

Hi there, I am starting off flying this week, but in a slightly differnet way in that I am going to declutter and deep clean one room each day, as they are very bad and then start following the fllady list next week. So hopefully my house will be sparkling by the end of the week and stay that way for once.:j

Michelle, When DS2 is/was ill, I usually left him run about in just his nappy, it was easier! Plus, it keeps them cool.

Also we have lamenite flooring and a leather sofa too, so it's only the cushions that get it. Just need plenty of kitchen roll.

When he had that night-time vomiting thing, a change of bedding, quilt made up etc, was kept in the room and towels were put on top of his pillow and sheet!

Explosive nappies were removed in the bath as his bum had to be showered as he always gets severe nappy rash with the dire rear.

And a squirt of star drops in the wash gets rid of vomit stains!!! :rotfl: :T

Hope he gets better soon, I can reccomend flat lemonade. Cola and iron bru vomit stains.

Going to try and get the house straight and keep up with you lot this week but I am being distracted by the competition thread and an addictive competition to win Virgin vouchers! Have won £400 worth so far -it is so time consuming though!!!

Hugs Michelle - sounds like you have had a hard weekend - hope Charlie is better soon xx
Thanks for the list Pigpen - hope you have enjoyed Crufts.
