Hi All
Well my day went pearshaped at lunchtime - DS's teacher rang to say he'd had an accident in the playground and could I come and fetch him. He'd got a really bad nose bleed and his nose was swelling up so I'd have to go and get it checked. I then spent the next 2 hours at the walk-in centre where they've told me after 3-4 days when the swellings gone down if the nose seems out of alignment then take him to the doctors. So in other words, if you've got a broken nose, unless it is obstructing your breathing, don't bother having it checked until the swelling's gone down! He's okay now but his nose is twice the size of normal.
I've also had parents' evenings for both of them tonight - good reports all round - so chuffed with that.
I've been to my parents' house for tea so I've done absolutely nothing since this morning although I did do some ironing before work.
Now tomorrow I've got to go and buy a birthday present for the party which my kids are going to tomorrow night and take it with me when I fetch them as I was going to pick it up on my way home from work tonight!
Anyway, Maralum - big hugs - I know you'll do the right thing for you and DS. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat. Hope LO's feeling better soon.
SSL - well done on the weight loss
Mudbath - whereabouts in Cheshire are you - near or far to Stoke?
Can't remember what else I was going to say so hugs to anyone who wants one.

sorry to hear about DS, hope the swelling goes down quickly and its not too serious. Think they should be able to see kids quicker, it is such a long time for a child to wait when they are in pain.
When DS broke his arm last year I picked him up from school at 12.30, went straight the hospital, he didn't have his op until approx 11.000pm.
Hope you all get a good nights rest.0 -

I've sort of ignored this list so far this week in favour of trying to sort out my study. I'm not quite sure what's happened but it's turned into a huge dumping ground and I have no room for anything. I don't think it helps that I've had to move tonnes of stuff out of the storage cupboard because I needed to dump other stuff in there. The rest of the house however is pretty tidy anyway, so I'm not too bothered.
Tomorrow's list
Vacuum downstairs
Clean kitchen
Deal with paperwork
Reply to email backlog.
