Mudbath - my mum broke her ankle in the summer and she ordered one of those covers online as they only had a shower, I'll ask her tomorrow where she got it from, it was fab, you could wear it swimmingLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

that would be great tracy, thankyou, i'm desperate for a long soak in the bath. i'm actually dreaming of next tuesday when they change the cast again and i get to WASH MY HAND! i'm going to take some oil for my skin too. i am so looking forward to it :rotfl:0 -

It's such hard work losing weight...

MUDBATH - DS2 broke his arm last spring, he was in a cast around his thumb and all the way to his underarm. He didn't have a problem with the itching, his skin dried up alot around the edges of his plaster, the parts covered went like goosebumps and really hairy. He had to keep it on for 6 weeks in total. He is not much of an outdoor child so didn't get too dirty, and its ok for a child to be bathed by someone else.
Hope it eases soon.0 -

I have done naff all today
Had college homework to do and it totally took over the day...and I didn't finish it either :mad:
So double the work tommorrow, here's my list- [strike]
- Reading at school
- [/strike]Clean car out
- [strike]
- Clean Kids car seats
- Run a empty cycle on the DW
- [/strike]
- Trip to the dump (electrical bits to be recycled)
Level 1

Vacuum floors and sofas
[/strike]Level 2
[strike]
Dusting, even if around everything
[strike]
[/strike]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
[/strike][strike]Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets[/strike]
[strike]
Clean out the fire.. if you can do it safely!!! Don't go taking things apart please and make sure it is cold!!

Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Wipe the bits on the stairs that need wiping.. skirting or just the exposed edges of the stairs.. mine look like fluff piles!

Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. Are there any that need rehoming/washing/polishing?
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
[/strike]Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –- Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.. or box it up to sort through later!!
- [strike]Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc [/strike]
- Clean a radiator or two.
- [strike]Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!![/strike]
- HHI.. get that mountain gone!
Level One
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/strike]
Level Two
[strike]Sweep and mop floors[/strike]
Sort & clean fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
[strike]Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary) [/strike]
Level Three

Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean out the kitchen junk drawers.. nasty dumping grounds!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
[/strike]Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Extra Mission : help yourself
- [strike]
- Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
- Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
- Clean oven if it really needs it.. or just do the hob
- [/strike]33 fling boogie.. GO!
- [strike]Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET[/strike]
