well today I;
- vacuumed all downstairs
- did a washing load
- unloaded dishwasher
- loaded dishwasher and, wait for it, set it running again!
- made tea!!!
- cleaned dining table
- got teary x 25 times
and you wouldn't believe how knackered i am. also, you remember the one room i fully cleaned this week was the bathroom? well, that's the room the blockage was in the pipes so i have brown sludge everywhere even though the plumber did try and clean it up. i've also realised we'll have to redecorate in the bathroom and the study when it's all done as the heating pipe work was connected wrongly and then boxed in. boxing has to come out and then all redone and redecorated.
but there is a plus....if i was working i'd have to cancel people anyway whilst it was sorted so that's very good timing!!!0 -

AnWs_mum.. it is all a bit close to home right now isn't it. Maybe you should be the one phoning the news papers and radio stations making your point about the work loads and targets being too much and though it is unfair to speculate it shows how much pressure members of our police force are! I'm quite certain you'd make a fantastic political activist!
I just feel saddened that there is another family without their loved one when there is absolutely no need for this to happen. But thank you for the confidence you show in me not sure that I would be so confident!
In the press this last week or so now there have been three officers from three different forces (sorry should be 'service' in this pc world) who are no longer with us. My DH, the CC of GMP and a DS from Lancashire. What kind of message is that sending out to Joe Public and would be police recruits?Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

I definitely haven't earned a dog biscuit... let alone a chocolate covered macadamia!!
I have however, washed the main bedroom linen, still in tumbler at the moment, and vacuumed all the upstairs. Worked all day, fed DS2 and friend, and took them to Police Station, and bought bread - and a magazine for me, because it's Wednesday. Made appointments with the hairdresser for DS1 and DD, and checked out the malaria tablets for DD.
Think Connie on Holby is having one of those carp days...
juliejim - that is just so lovely of you.
(((maralum))) - I'm another one to suggest seeking extra help and advice on this.
AnW's mum - still in my thoughts, every time I see a daffodil! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Evening All,
Big hugs for anwsmum and mudbath and everyone else...
I've done the sum total of nothing today!!
I had a practise for the presentation I'm delivering tomorrow and just couldn't face anything else...I got on the scales too and even though I joined Slimming World last week and have stuck to the plan, I don't seem to have lost anything. I'm hoping its just that my scales weigh differently and that by tomorrow morning I'll have lost something!!
Not sure how much I'll get done tomorrow, I may just have to play catch up on friday...
Hey pigpen can we maybe have a spring cleaning/ decluttering list for some of the time during the Easter holidays?? I could do with geeting my kinders to really sort their rooms out...not to mention DH...oh and an ebaying challenge thingy would be good too.0
