    I've just cheated when it comes to changing my bed :o I took the bottom fitted sheet and turned it round 180degrees, took the top sheet off completely, took the top pillowcases off which match the quilt leaving plain cream ones on and then put the quilt back on. There's only me in it and seems pretty pointless to me to wash the whole lot when I'm still only sleeping on one side of it :p:rotfl: Doing my bit for the environment. :rotfl::rotfl:

    Off to drool over Tourchwood now. Ex isn't online so I might go to bed early as well ;) DD is off to school tomorrow whether she likes it or not as I need the break! :D:rotfl::rotfl: Nite all :wave:

    AnWsmum - thanks for the offer of the glass of wine but I think if I drink it I'll pass out at the keyboard.

    I am in a state of seriously pooped poopedness. The dog is not much better. I'll allow myself one macadamia (spelling) nut if that's alright.

    Well dinner is eaten (OS style - home made cauliflower cheese, home baked ham and some home boiled pots with it). Some of the washing up has found its way to the dishwasher and the sink but there's a bit more lurking. But I don't care - I'm leaving that till the morning. I'm just going to finish my cup of tea and then crawl into bed....alone ... to sleep... perchance to dream of yomping over hill and down dale - NOOOOO :eek:

    Seriously, night night ladies. One totally exhausted Soappie is signing out for the evening. Have a good one.

    AnWs_mum.. it is all a bit close to home right now isn't it. Maybe you should be the one phoning the news papers and radio stations making your point about the work loads and targets being too much and though it is unfair to speculate it shows how much pressure members of our police force are! I'm quite certain you'd make a fantastic political activist!

    Evening everyone:j

    Just wanted to update on the science/liquid homework.

    We decided to freeze 6 liquids, here are the results;
    Vegetable oil - freezes, but turns white
    Salad Cream - freezes to an ice cream type consitency
    Treacle - doesn't feeze, thickens a little
    Vinegar - Crystalises, a bit like a slush puppy - don't fancy that flavour :eek:
    Milk - freezes solid
    Lemon Washing up liquid - Turns cream, opaque, frozen

    Considering I thought it was a pain to do, it was quite interesting. Thanks for all the suggetsions.:T :T
