I'm going to be helping in school! After easter, only on a monday afternoon, as it's the only time with no children - I must be mad!! A good way to see if it's something I really want to do, and I have got a lovely teacher to help so thats good.
DD1 has her recital tomorrow, I'm really nervous!! Slight prob, her group starts at 9.30, next group starts at 10.45, she is 4th from last and I have to be at doctors at 10.45 - hope I get to see her, about 15mins in car to doctors from recital place, keep fingers crossed for me, would hate to miss her.
Not done much as didn't get in till later than normal, and feeling vvvvv tired today, hopefully doctor tomorrow will tell me something insignificant is causing the tiredness and they can give me something to put it right. Here's hoping.
Now off to bed, hugs, cakes, wine to anyone who wants them, one day I'll get a dog biscuit off pigpen!Need to sort my life out! :T0 -
JillD crossed post. Yes, 1969 gives it away. Another reason for 'eating healthily' and losing weight now is I don't want to feel fat and be 40 at the same time. I know its over a year away but if I start now I should have it sussed by then. First time I've typed 40 regards to myself and it looks scary.Need to sort my life out! :T0

watch out manbashing alert and even bigger MOAN / WHINGE / RANT alert don't read on if you think I am jst a big whingebag with no real problems ....LOL
sigh why do I always end up doing massive posts sooooo late....
Anyway I have had another useless day and in order to get it off my chest here's what the last 2 days have consisted of :
Tuesday:
- get everyone up breakfast etc
- walk DS to school
- drop DD1 to preschool
- go into town and do mystery shop
- collect DD1 at preschool and crash car into friend
- dying of embarrassment and nerves go to another friends house for lunch and lots of tea
- collect DS from school
- go to Asda to buy crashed-into-friend flowers etc and somehow do mini weekly shop by accident (its amazing what you can get in a basket and under a buggy ...)
- drop flowers to crashed-into-friend
- go home and make phonecall enquiry part of mystery shop
- do tea and tidy up etc
- out to friends for dinner
- home, fiddle about, collapse into bed at 1am
Wednesday:
- get up at 5am to feed baby
- get up breakfast etc
- do bottles we have none for creche today as I was out last night and didnt do them then of course none else would bother .....
- drop DS to school and DD to friend whose turn to do preschool run
- go to gym and wreck myself in spinning class then coffee
- die of embarrassment back at the preschool whilst collecting DD and her friend from preschool
- get home and feed everyone including baby but not me
- remember to do mystery shop feedback online
- guzzle bowl of soup
- grab some laundry to shove on and somehow half rip off a finger nail all the way down the side towards nail bed OUCH still throbbing now .....
answer several billion questions about food, baby, toilet, toys, computer, to DD friend
- 15 min walk to school to collect DS
- realise we now have to run back for dentist and run home with dbl buggy and DS
- phone dentist to explain we would be late stupid woman didnt understand had to spell it out therby making us even later
- drive to dentists feeling very stressed and then realisisng this wont help the fact I now have to reverse in a car park again all worried about what might be behind me aarrghh
- run to ticket mchine to get ticket for car
- run back to car and load kids out into buggy etc
- run to dentists
:T all have great teeth thank god something going well
- get home at 5pm to kitchen in total devastation as not touched all day
- feed everyone AGAIN whilst running around tidying kitchen
- tidy DD1 bedroom floor now not visible due to her and friend getting out every carp bracelet, hair bobble, bead, polly pocket shoe, plastic button, dolls house bit
- everyone teeth bed stories etc inc DS reading for school
- husband gets home and he eats pizza in front of the telly
- I do lunches, tidy playroom, put bins out, put yesterdays shopping away, empty second DW lot, put wash on, bit of filing; asked DH for help he basically says no
- rise above it and not have an argument in fact take his post into him on sofa and also give him voucher for free beer (really) at pub, that fell out of free paper
- collapse into bed intending to sort out accounts but spend an hor and ahalf catching up on here instead
- listen to husband, when he came up for a bit, telling me about how stressful his day was:mad:
So that is why I have done no flying today.
My legs ache, my feet ache, my stupid ripped fingernail aches, I have a hole in my index finger where I picked at a skelf anf its all bleeding, and I have a headache. And I'm shattered. Hope baby sleeps through tonight. Cant be doing with feeding her at 5 mind you at least I get back to bed for an hour and a half. Feeding at 6 is worse LOL
Am v p'ed off at DH, he thinks the whole running over person in the car park is hysterically funny , I can see the funny side a bit, dont get me wrong, but !!!!!! I effing drove into a person in my car. As someone MOJT ? Justamum ? said - OMFG. I know it sounds a bit OTT but I am still feeling really stressed about it, parking up there at lunchtime was AWFUL. I parked on the road, not in the carpark so I wont hit anyone again, but of course that means I have to walk from the kerbside to the front door across the car park with baby and DD> And today it was also with DD's friend. My arm that was carrying baby and 2 preschool bags and folders was in agony by the time I got back to the car. But I just couldnt park in the car park. Of course all the chat etc was about it, I was cringeing deeply. aarrghh. I phoned DH yesterday to initally tell him - when he did actually listen to me - but since then at no point has DH said you sit down I'll make you a cuppa, or even "are you ok" or anything. Nothing. Just laughed. Nice.
Anyway bottom line is I am fine, I am on now top of general stuff like laundry, filing, bins, food, kitchen, dishwasher, so I can follow this post with a list and attempt a catch up tomorrow as have nothng planned until after school for DS swimming. That means that I should have some chores time in the morning maybe half an hout if baby sleeps and again the same after lunch, so should at least get bathrooms done and decobwebbing & dusting everywhere else. Seem to have tons of paperwork & letters as well suddenly.
work have a pub do on tomorrow night so if I can get late minute babysitter might go to that and do the paperwork Friday instead.
Here's to a new day tomorrow :T
Jillx
oh yes on the plus I started ptting our child benefit into a savings account in Sept when baby was born, I mean all of it for the 3 of them, previously it just got spent in the noise. The statement came in today its sitting at £1259 :T  :jJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Jill,
You sound exhausted (hugs)
Sometimes they (DH/DP/BF) just don't get it - you need some extra support just now. Ask for it and if you don't get TELL him. DH was a superstar when dd1 was born - when ds came along I felt like a single parent, it was really bad but I didn't tell him I needed help - I just got on with it (and felt rubbish the whole time) Somewhere along the way we found "us" again. In all honesty it is wrong that I feel SO greatful that he helps out (making up lunches/ironing clothes etc) but they are our kids.
Does that make some sense or am I just rambling?
Tell him that you can see the funny side of what happened but would have appreciated some support, before a little niggle turns into something more...
and tbh might do you some good just to say "s0d the housework" for a few days - keep things ticking over but give yourself a wee bit of time inbetween feeds/school runs/cooking meals etc.
Don't be so hard on yourself you are doing the most important job in the world!!!0 -
Just having a quick catchup on posts.
Maralum hugest hugs hun, keep safe and trust your instincts
JillD hugs hun I had a small car incident last year, me and another car collided when we both reverserved, nothing serious but I still hate going in that car park even now. Men just don't dwell and think of the what if's like we do. They find humour in most things - it is there coping strategy and we find it b***dy annoying.
I've done the ironing and am so looking forward to attempting to catch up a bit tomorrow in between speaking to all the teachers. I have no concerns where DS1 and DS2 are and as I am in there school a fair bit I have a good idea what they are up to. DS3 teacher is newly qualified so you never know what she is going to say (no disrespect intended but I'm not sure her expectations of a 6 year old are quite tuned in yet).
Must do a food shop. Have been wheatfree (well as close as I can) for a week now and hate to admit it but I am a lot better - reading a great food intolerence book to back it all up and see what I do next. A friend also gave me a really interesting book about eating by blood group - what is good and what is not depending on your blood - I need to read about this more before I try it.
Right time for bed.
See you all tomorrow. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Mudbath. DS1 had one of those cast protector things. It worked to an extent in the shower/bath but was not waterproof when he went bodyboarding so I wouldn't recommend that! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

OMG I want to cry. I went to check the Boots weight card thing that nsn talked about and then digressed into an online BMI calculator. My results were:
YOU ARE SERIOUSLY OVERWIGHT FOR YOUR HEIGHT
If your BMI is between 30 and 39.9 you're obese

I've alwasy fallen in the overwight r very overwgith bracket, never the obese bracket.
Made me all the more determined to shift some of it.Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Thanks for your reply, I am exhausted yes, but mostly just cos of the knock on effects of yesterdays thing. I did have a very good couple of weeks there after yet another very low point a few weeks back. This is half the problem at the minute, its all tickety boo, one thing happens and BAM it all goes belly up.
I've been here before with DH, and by here I mean moaning about the same things on here and getting same advice. The las time, a couple of weeks ago, he promised to help me at night by tidying the kitchen. Tonight when I asked him he said Oh I thought we'd finished it. Well dunno why he said we, he'd done nothing, and there was still tons to do which otherwise Id have to do tomorrow. But anyway I couldnt be bothered with the argument and ensuing guilt and then apology which always see,s to come from me so just did it all myself. Probably my own worst enemy. But prime example - the other night the telly blaring woke me at 12:30. I didnt wantto get uo and get cold, didnt want to shout down to him to ask him to turn it down in case I woke the kids,so I banged in the ceiling, He came upstairs all huffy and I had to apologise to him. !!!!!!
This always happens, he does something (or doesnt do something), I complain, he takes the huff, I end up apologising, Its always been like this since before we got married. He will never change. He is an only child and used to getting his own way. And his Mum is the same. Grrr had to throw that one in LOL
Oh must stop ranting and get some sleep. will rant more tomorrow
Thanksso much for your lovely message (hugs)
