    Morning everyone!

Right! I'm on the job today. Feeling much more positive so going to get downstairs sorted today. Need to:

    clear kitchen surfaces
do all washing up - DH can only sort out the bits of washing up he feels like not all of it!
Mop kitchen floor - my feet are sticking to it!
Sort out bins for bin day tomorrow
    hoover lounge
    sweep and mop hall
    sort and put away washing
    dry rest of washing
transfer money into current account before DH spends it all

Very impressed that I have already dried one lot of washing and been to the tip.

DD a lot happier this morning too so all looking rosy again.

If I complete my list pigpen can I have a dog biscuit too???

JillD - Don't think these men understand how much we deal with on a day to day basis - I think we take on so much with children, household, working etc, etc, and I think we look after everyone elses needs both physically and emotionally then we forget about ourselves and something like that just knocks you for six. The reason our DH/DP's don't fall apart after something like that is because WE PICK UP THE PIECES!!!!!!! I would definately be in tears/shaking/losing it for the week following, but we are all here for you. Who knows, Pigpen may even through you one of those special dog biscuits with a sedative in to calm you down!!!!:rotfl:

whats ladies of letters ? I am intrigued..

Ladies of letters is a Radio 4 comedy series with Prunella Scales and Patricia Routledge. It follows the correspondence between the 2 main characters Vera and Irene. It started off with letters but they have now graduated to emails. Its very funny, but also has its sad moments. I've managed to miss the last two series so will need to see if the library will get them in for me ;)

JillD crossed post. Yes, 1969 gives it away. Another reason for 'eating healthily' and losing weight now is I don't want to feel fat and be 40 at the same time. I know its over a year away but if I start now I should have it sussed by then. First time I've typed 40 regards to myself and it looks scary.

    Snap!! I'm 40 next August :D
