Nicki - which OU course are you doing?
I'm going to be doing an ICT degree when it starts in October but I'm looking the doing a short course to give me something to do before then as I discovered today that the house is clean enough and tidy enough and since I don't go out to work I have nothing better to do all day unless DD is home
I've still not registered for a course as I've just had half a rainforest come through the door! Income Support and Tax Credits are now sorted, just waiting on housing benefit and Council tax benefit. Off to fill in my spreadsheets so I can try and see where I am financially now. Its scary that my "income" is dropping dramatically so I'm going to have to start cutting back on things like food, leaving things on standby, which reminds me I should really go and switch the emersion off:wave:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Tiddles collected and fed.. DW unloaded.. dinner done.. made a cuppa.. need to add gravy to the SC and give a good stir about..
I think I need that sleep right now.. and tiddles isn't looking like bed is onher list of priorities this afternoon.. might bung her in front of a film and have half hour snooze on the sofa.. I'll feel most human again after that.. half an hour on the sofa works like 3 hours in bed!!

If you have done your list you can slot in a HHE (half hour exercise for those who don't speak fly yet!) That alone will earn you a dog biscuit.. zero calories in these ones!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Right that ended up lasting an hour. Emptied DW, did a wee drop of hand washing, emptied and reloaded WM, hung up washing. Cleaned hob and grill pan. Even did a 5mGC in there as well! Did a bin ban dance. Tidied master bedroom. Entertained DD and her pal who came home for lunch who nearly died of shock to see me dressed and in the garden at lunchtime LOL.
Need to parcel up my nephew's birthday present and post it. And return some library books. That will be my HHE, walking to the PO/Library and back. Am wearing my pedometer to see how far it exactly is and how many steps I am doing in a day. Not many to be fair and no where near 10,000
Time for lunch I think0
