I have no motivation to do anything today. House is tidy, dailies are done and I'm bored. Oh, must go sign up for that OU course......

OMG I want to cry. I went to check the Boots weight card thing that nsn talked about and then digressed into an online BMI calculator. My results were:

YOU ARE SERIOUSLY OVERWIGHT FOR YOUR HEIGHT
If your BMI is between 30 and 39.9 you're obese

    :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

I've alwasy fallen in the overwight r very overwgith bracket, never the obese bracket.
Made me all the more determined to shift some of it.

Not necessarily Jill. Different websites have different criteria. I like this one, but I cant remember where I get it from!
    19.1-25.8 Normal
    25.8-27.3 Marginally overweight
    27.3-32.3 Overweight
    32.3-35 Very overweight or obese
35-40 Severely obese (Oh God this is where I am 35.11 :( _pale_ _pale_ )
    40-50 Morbidly obese

Ok, if I lose 2 lbs this week, I go down to 34.5. Thats doable.

Right missus, what is your target for this week?

PS I do think you need a bit of me time. And you have done brilliantly with the family allowance :T :T Whats the plan for that money? xx
  • PigPen you are a diamond!!! Thanks for the talking to. I have now decluttered another drawer, cleared the kitchen table and sorted all the stuff stored on top of the kitchen cupboards!!! OMG I have filled three black bin bags with out of date food and general clutter!!! Its shocking how much stuff there was in there that I just don't need. I still haven't mopped, that is the one job I really hate. I have swept but I really need to get on my hands and knees to scrub the floor. I really think I might give that a miss today.

Sharon I loathe mopping too.. I usually nag hubby until he does it.. but once the floor is clear and swept it doesn't take too long. I have an old squirty bottle which I filled with stardrops solution and I squirt the nasty stuck on bits and leave them for a bit then they mop off without so much scrubbing!! I did mine the other day (Tuesday I think) and it is gross again.. Tiddles spilled a bowl of sticky cereal milk!! And cheerios are welded on too.. love it! Glad you found some motivation though.. keep going it'll soon be all done and you'll be so glad and it will make you so proud!!

I've changed all the girls bedding (apart from DD1, but she can do hers later!) and found the sides for the cotbed to be put to a bed.. I'll do that later if I can find the screwdriver!!

    Best go collect Tiddles actually!!

    I am really thirsty too...

    Morning all

Two loads of washing done, including DD's bedding, hung round indoors. Not raining yet but looks like it wants to.

Bathroom and toilet cleaned, floors washed.

Helped DD get her suitcase out of the loft, she's going on holiday on Saturday (other DD gets back Saturday evening).

  • Hello peeps! Long time no speak!

Got off to a great start with this mid February and had a lovely, sparkly home leading up to my mum's stay at the end of February. That's when it all went downhill. Mum is in her 70's and just SITS. You end up sitting with her and getting nowt done at all. If you DO venture into another room, she follows you and SITS again. Doesn't say owt; makes you feel awkward if you don't chat to her; asks what you're doing constantly; wants to know who was on the phone when you put it down. God I could go on. I love her dearly and only see her for a weeks' visit every 3 months or so, but flippin eck, when I put her on the train to return home, the relief is immense. I know reading this back it makes me sound like a right bi-atch but it's taken me this long to even minimally get the house back into some sort of order.

I've missed you guys! Gonna tackle the kitchen today then and s/s the bathrooms.

TD x 1 and WM x 3 so far. Washing out on the line - blowing a hooley here!

Gonna go do HHC and then have lunch at 12.30 - anyone up for it?

It feels good to be back xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
