Barclays Tax Haven ISA 2008/09

Hi,
As I haven´t made use of my allowance for 2007/08 yet, I wonder if I now have to open a Tax Beater Cash ISA for 2007/08 and at the same time apply for the Tax Haven ISA for the upcoming tax year? Or can I just open 1 account, e.g. the Tax Haven account and pay in 3k for the current and then on April 6th another 3.6k for 08/09
DUS, you can open a Barclay's ISA for 2007/08 but it won't be a ''Tax Beater ISA'' because that account is no longer available. You can apply for a ''Tax Haven ISA'' for 2008/09 in advance of the new tax year but you will have to wait until 6th April before deposting any money into the account. You can't open a ''Tax Haven ISA'' for the current tax year.0 -

When i read the T&C earlier i seem to remember it was in branch/phone only?
If its online its the one for me.
Is anybody who has already set one of these up able to confirm about the online transfers aspect (as above)?
If not, then what was the situation for last years Barclays ISA?

I just telephoned Barclays, seems like I have to go to a branch as I am not registered for online banking, but my experiences were really bad last year, so I think it is better than onlineTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0

I could only find the current year's one to apply for online too - off to have another look! Then I guess I'll need to find another home for the "tax beater" ISA and the other one I have from previous years...0

The first line of my previous post was ''DUS, you can open a Barclay's ISA for 2007/08......'' & it was referring to a 'Barclay's Cash ISA' which I believed was the only ISA available for the 2007/08 tax year since the demise of the Tax Beater ISA.
I had been lead to believe that the Tax Haven ISA was only available for the new tax year commencing on 6/4/08 but that accounts can be opened with a zero balance ahead of that date. A check of the Barclay's website has revealed that the Tax Haven ISA is in fact available for deposits up to £3,000 in the current tax year.
So there are currently two different ISAs available from Barclay's.
