  • Evenin All... "Inch high private Eye" here again... I doubt if they will move unless anyone bothers to dob them in to Mail boxes etc (ahem!)....

    From what I read on other forums, they just dont GIVE A SH*T!,, as One has to be caught in the act these days...

    As I said, I have a case running with TD & a ref number to boot...So come first thing in the morning they will be hearing from me...

    I agree that the removal of the "3 x Amigos' " postings was a little spooky, but I bet they do this kinda thing all the time when good folks like us who work hard for our livings "rummble them"... but whilst this message isnt hitting them hard, then I guess they will keep on trading for a long time to come..

    HEY! here's an idea... why dont Phoebe, Gemmzz & Monieworries me & I all go for a stake out at the legit curry house in my photos.. Drink Cobra lager, Eat damned fine Baltis.. & wait for those RIPPING OFF BA$%^*&s to come n collect thier mail.... then we could expose them for the con men they really are..

    Where Are My Tickets?

    “I ordered tickets over the Internet for an event/festival/concert that is happening this weekend. The company which is based abroad has not delivered the tickets and I cannot contact them”
    In order to make an informed choice when you buy tickets over the Internet, you must insure that you read the terms and conditions available on the website, with particular attention to clauses concerning time of dispatch and refund policy in case of cancellation of the event or late dispatch of ticket. Also check if there are any additional fees, and if the ticket agent has provided information on the location of the seat or space. The face value of the ticket should also be stated.

    In case of failure to deliver goods, if you were told that the tickets would be delivered within 3-5 days before the event/festival/concert and this has not happened then the seller may be viewed as in breach of contract.

    In the EU you also have rights under the Distance Selling Directive 97/7 which states that goods or services should be delivered within 30 days (unless agreed otherwise) and the contract shall be treated as if the consumer never entered into it.

    If you are in a situation where your tickets have not been delivered then we suggest trying all known phone numbers for the company, but if this is not successful then you may need to consider putting your complaint in writing.

    You should send a recorded delivery letter to all known addresses to the company stating that the tickets were not delivered. You should ask for a refund within a fixed deadline (i.e. 14 days) and do not have to accept alternative tickets or vouchers (unless you want to do this). Include copies of correspondence and order references and make sure you make a copy of the letter sent to the company for your own records.

    If you have purchase your ticket with a UK credit card and the tickets were over £100 then you should contact your credit card company. Under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 you can hold the credit card Company equally liable for a breach of contract.

    & just for the record I have now found 2 x BBC journalists who I will be emailing in the morning , as they are currently investigating other touting companies.. so I will share with all IF & when I get a reply from either of them..

  • hello there i to am in the same boat , www.summerfestivals.con , 1 V festival ticket for Chelmsford , great to read some posts of great advise and that people are seeing this through , companies should not be able to get away with this , i will keep reading , and in the mean time will be searching other forums for any other information , will keep you all updated if i find anything new , but you all seem pretty well informed , cheers

It's good to see that more and more people are looking at the posts-let's just hope they're reading before purchasing. Oh, by the way IfIwereaRichman, good work on tracking down the beeb reporters.     Has anyone tried to contact them today? I've sent an email to every one of their websites, but none seem to have been received or opened if putting a delivery/read receipt on emails does actually work?!
  • Just to put a few folk right...

    I reported all the company responses to MSE Abuse team, as it is against the site rules for them to post unless with express permission from the team... Other folk may well have done the same... abuse team have investigated and they have accordingly removed the offending posts...:T

    I very much doubt MSE is investigating anything to do with this company... it is not Watchdog!!! ;)

    Thanks mountainchrisriver. I reported this too but the mods usually post if posts have been removed. How do you know these posts were not deleted by the employees themselves please?
