Hi Caterina.

I'm still waiting to see when the official meet is. It's now confirmed as Manchester but no date yet. I think that as both time and location are very close, the OS meet is likely to be postponed until early spring.

However, if enough of you still want to meet in Blackpool, then I'm sure it can still go ahead. There won't be any probs getting rooms at that time of year, in any case.

Hi all. Due the proximity (in both time and location) of the official MSE party - and the fact some of the OS regulars who wanted to come can't make 19th Nov, I've decided to postpone it until next year - perhaps March or April?

(Stands up, hand on heart ) I hereby promise to organise an OS meet next springtime, if that's OK with everyone? Also, it'll give ya all time to save up after Xmas so we can have a humdinger of a party

Hi, I have only just caught this posting. I live in North Kent(Medway area) and will be delighted to go to a OS meet in the new year.If anyone needs a lift I will have three spare seats as I live on my own and drive a small MPV Citroen Picasso.
As long as it's not via Cornwall I can offer a lift to more or less anywhere the venue is in England.
I was a taxi driver in London for 22 years before I retired so I think I am a reasonably safe driver.Let me know where and when and I'm up for it.

Our house is for sale though as we haveto move to bedfordshire for DH'swork, hes been commuting 150 miles a day since Jan :eek: , so I may not be here in spring

Jackie - make sure you save a place for Squeaky - I'm sure he'd love to come to a meet but may have problems getting to one.
